Bruce Smith founded Cold Creek Ranch with a vision of creating a beautiful ranching facility that breeds a wide range of trophy whitetail deer and exotic animals with high quality genetics. An international hunter, Bruce is passionate about all things outdoors and has committed time and focus on personally seeing and researching different breeds of animals. A profuse amount of time devoted to research and global hunting adventures has facilitated Bruce to master the art of breeding extraordinary trophy animals. This dedicated ranch owner loves hunting, fishing, and everything that involves wildlife and nature. Bruce's vision of having a ranch abundant with trophy animals and wildlife has now manifested - Cold Creek Ranch animals are not only superior, they are some of the best in Texas.
Growing up alongside the Hudson River in Upstate New York surrounded by the Catskill Mountains, David always has had an appreciation and passion for the outdoors and the wildlife it sustained. By attending Oswego State University, David was able to turn that passion for animals and outdoors into a career by graduating with a B.S. in Zoology in May 2012. Since graduating, David had worked abroad in South Africa and managed whitetail deer and exotic wildlife ranches in both Texas and Wisconsin. David has been with Cold Creek Ranch since June of 2016. David's passion for animal husbandry, wildlife management, genetics and breeding is taking CCR to the next level.
