Austin Foster - Founder, President

A Georgia native, I was born and raised in Dunwoody. I graduated from University of Georgia in 1990, with a degree in Landscape Architecture and started Construction Ahead Inc. in 1992. My goal has always been to deliver a great experience and a well built project. I feel lucky, in that I truly enjoy my work - which shows in the long list of satisfied clients. On the personal front, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, reading and martial arts. I am a foodie who loves to cook and barbecue. I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting, skiing and camping.

Clay Gienger

Clay was born in Atlanta and grew up in Snellville, Ga. He graduated from Brookwood High School and had a passion for art and math. He attended Georgia Tech where he earned his degree in Industrial Design in the College of Architecture. He also earned a certificate in marketing while graduating with Highest Honors from Georgia Tech. Clay has 10 years of professional experience in the architectural and IT industry. As a project and operations manager, he offers clients innovative and detailed oriented solutions to complex problems. On a personal level, Clay enjoys playing and watching soccer as he has been on the passionate about the sport since he was four years of age. He played on the Brookwood High School soccer team and earned the school their first state championship his senior year. In his free time in the cold months, Clay enjoys hitting the slopes and goes snowboarding multiple times a season.

Sarah Jordan

Sarah was born and raised in the small town of Rensselaer, Indiana. At a young age, she developed her passion for design and all things creative while working for her parents Garden and Floral Shoppe. Following her design instincts, she attended a photography school in Dayton Ohio but eventually earned an Interior Design degree from Ball State University. After graduating she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her career where she became a design consultant for Ethan Allen; after 2 years she was promoted to a Project Management position, which allowed her to work on several projects at a time. Fast forwarding 11 years, Sarah found her career was pushing her passion for design to the wayside and going more towards management in a retail setting. Getting back to her designer roots, she started as the design manager for Construction Ahead. Sarah has also started her own design firm called Sarah Lou Design and she has been able to grow this business by developing close relationships with clients at Construction Ahead, making it a seamless transition. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two little boys.
