Dr Bohumil Poláček

He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Charles University in Prague (where he also passed the rigorous examination and graduated from doctoral studies in the department of Commercial law), the specialisation of management and economics at the Technical University (then VŠST) in Liberec, postgraduate specialised studies in enterprise appraising at the University of Economics (VŠE) in Prague, a one-year managerial course in Komerční banka, the MBA managerial study programme in LIGS University (Honolulu) and the LLM postgraduate programme in LIGS University. After one-year initial work experience in the company Vlnap, a.s. in Nejdek he worked in several financial institutions in different positions - Komerční banka, a.s., (Head of the branch office in Nejdek), Česká spořitelna, a.s., (Head of the district branch in Cheb, Business Deputy Manager at the regional branch in Carlsbad), Konsolidační banka Praha, s.p.ú., (Executive Director, responsible for the area of risk management, central methodology, organisation and appraising; he was the main negotiator upon assigning non-performing assets in the amount of CZK 60 bn. from Komerční banka) and eBanka, a.s., (Regional Manager in Brno). Since 2005, he has been working in the area of economic consulting. He participated in the takeover of the Czech Republic's property in the port of Hamburg from the bankruptcy trustee of the Československá plavba labská, a.s., and managed the property for the Czech Republic. He is also a lector. He is the Executive Head of the appraising institute Appraising Alpha - znalecký ústav, s.r.o., and the Executive Head of the consulting company Consulting Alpha, s.r.o. He has been working as an expert witness specialised in the enterprise appraising since 2003. He has been working as an expert witness specialised in the financial assets, the intangible assets and the movable assets appraising since 2010. As an author or co-author, he also published a number of specialised professional articles on appraising and on International Law of Economy. As a co-author, he published the monograph "APPRAISAL REPORT AND THE ENTERPRISE" (C. H. Beck, 2006).

Monika Veselá

She graduated from the University of Economics, Prague, the Faculty of Business Administration, where she studied business economics and management. She also graduated from the MBA managerial study programme in A&W Business School (now London International Graduate School). Currently, she is completing her studies at the Charles University, the Faculty of Law. In the period of 1999 - 2004, she worked in various positions in media marketing - Bonton a.s., Český rozhlas and FTV Premiéra spol. s r.o. - Prima TV. She currently works as an independent accounting and economic consultant; she also externally cooperates with the Methodological section of the Union of Accountants and she is giving lectures on marketing in the Prague Study Centre of Vysoká školá ekonomická Znojmo; she is also a lecturer in courses focused on fundraising and on processing and managing projects financed from the European funds. She specialises in a non-profit sector and in projects financed from the European structural funds. She is a co-author of the text book "Ekonomie a ekonomika" - Economics and economy (P. Kolář - M. Veselá, ASPI 2006); currently, she is working on the book focused on marketing of the Czech non-profit sector and on its comparison with marketing of non-profit organisations in other European countries. She is a member of IAPNM (International Association on Public and Non Profit Marketing). She acts as a senior project manager in Consulting Alpha, s.r.o.

Zdeněk Nosek

He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, the Faculty of Economics and Production, the specialisation of mathematic and economic models, a one-year managerial course in Komerční banka, the MBA managerial study programme in A&W Business School (now London International Graduate School). He also graduated from the postgraduate specialised studies in enterprise appraising at the University of Economics (VŠE) in Prague and from many other courses focused on project management and internal audit. During the period of 1988 - 1991, he worked in Poldi SONP Kladno in the area of planning. From 1991 to 1996, he worked in the Head Office of Komerční banka, a.s. as a methodologist in the area of payments. In the period of 1996 - 2000 he worked in the Head Office of Česká spořitelna, a.s. as the Head of the team for payments methodology. In 2000/01, he was the Head of Department for methodology and appraising and later the Head of methodology department in Konsolidační banka Praha, s.p.ú., where he was in charge of the creation of internal rules, organisation and receivables appraising. In 2001 - 2004 he was the Head of organisation and methodology team in the Head Office of Raiffeisenbank, a.s. From 2004 to 2007, he acted as Director of the audit and compliance department in Česká konsolidační agentura, in which he was also responsible for the financial risk control and receivables appraising. In 2008, he worked for Česká pojišťovna, a.s. where he assisted in creating a group of financial consultants. From the end of 2008 to the end of 2009, he acted as Executive Director in the Institute for the managerial education A&W Business School. During his whole professional career, he has lectured in a large number of courses and training related to internal rules and regulations and he also often spoke about this specialised issue in media. He is the Executive Head of the appraising institute Appraising Alpha - znalecký ústav, s.r.o., and the Executive Head of the consulting company Consulting Alpha, s.r.o.
