CREATING HEALTHY PEOPLE

The Creating Healthy People Lab, located in the Psychological and Brain Science Department at George Washington University, conducts research to understand factors that facilitate and inhibit physical and mental health across the lifespan. We use attitude and decision making theories, and theories of motivation and self-regulation, to help better understand behaviors such as exercise, performance enhancing substance use, and eating habits. Some projects focus on applied issues while others address more theoretical issues, but the goal of all projects is to contribute to the health and well-being of people.
