Daniel Tobin

For the past 30 years, Mr. Tobin has been responsible for the sale and leasing of commercial properties and the representation of clients real estate needs nationally. Dan has completed over 1,000 industrial transactions, in excess of 10,000,000 square feet. He has completed several of the most significantly noted transactions in the Chicago market. Prior to his real estate career, Tobin was an active, and honorably discharged United States Marine.

Mr. Dowling brings to our team effort thirty plus years of successful commercial/industrial real estate experience including development, consulting, corporate planning, real estate investment and general brokerage. He started his career in the mid 1970's as a Corporate Real Estate Manager for Kraft Foods where he was responsible for leasing, acquiring, disposing and developing the corporation's real estate. During his ten year corporate stay, he participated in the acquisition of over 400 transactions and the disposition of over 100 transactions both totaling over 10,000,000 square feet of office, industrial, and hi-tech space including many start-up manufacturing/plant operations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. In 1984, Mr. Dowling joined Rubloff Inc. (a large Midwest based real estate brokerage company) as a Vice President specializing in representing corporations in the sale, lease, or acquisition of office or industrial facilities throughout the United States. During his five years with Rubloff, Mr. Dowling completed over 4 million square feet of transactions for his clients with many satisfied repeat customers. He also successfully represented institutional owners of eight trophy office buildings totaling over 4,000,000 square feet. His marketing and leasing strategies raised occupancy levels to 94.8% during his tenure as senior leasing representative on those projects. In 1989, Mr. Dowling joined Mesirow Financial as a Senior Vice President. He continued to provide real estate brokerage and consulting services to corporations and various institutions in the leasing, sale, acquisition, appraisal and build-to-suit areas of office, industrial, and investment-grade real estate. Mr. Dowling, along with five other partners, started GVA Chicago in 1995 successfully continuing existing clients in their real estate needs with consulting, brokerage, investments and real estate development. He brings a complete stable of the aforementioned clients to CTK Chicago Partners, which recently commenced activities as a combined Camins Tomasz Kritt and GVA Chicago entity. Mr. Dowling is a partner in the company and continues to bring a much-needed "corporate perspective from a consultant standpoint" to CTK CP's client base. Expertise in Commercial/Industrial Acquisitions and dispositions, including site selection and build-to-suits, along with real estate development consulting capabilities.

Greg Wernisch - VP

Greg Wernisch has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience representing owners and users of industrial and commercial properties in North Suburban Chicago and Southeastern Wisconsin. Mr. Wernisch achieved the SIOR designation in 1990, the CCIM designation in 2008, and has served at the Board Level with the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE). He has represented numerous clients including Westinghouse Electric, The RREEF Funds, The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, the City of Janesville, WI, Opus North Corporation, CenterPoint and the Elgin, Joliet and Eastern Railway Co., recently acquired by Canadian National. In all, he has handled the sale or lease of more than 11 million square-feet of existing facilities and over 1200 acres of land.

Harvey B. Camins

Harvey Camins is the President and Chief Executive Officer of CTK Chicago Partners-City Properties where his principal activities involve the sale, leasing and management of office and industrial properties. Mr. Camins was a founding partner of Frain Camins & Swartchild in 1978. While leading Frain Camins & Swartchild, he launched the company's property management division, which eventually grew to oversee 13 million square feet of suburban and CBD office buildings, industrial and retail properties. Mr. Camins and his partners sold FC&S to Insignia Financial Group (NYSE) in 1997. He served as the Midwest Regional President of Insignia from1997 to 1999 and as Executive Managing Director from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Camins is the past President of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA Chicago), the Chicago Office Leasing Brokers Association (COLBA) and the Association of Industrial and Real Estate Brokers (AIREA). He serves on the boards of BOMA Chicago and the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago.

Howard Caplan - VP

Howard joined William Kritt & Co. (now Camins Tomasz Kritt) in 1980 following his graduation with a bachelor's of science in finance. Since then, Howard has become one of Chicago's (and the immediate suburbs') foremost brokers in its urban inner-city areas where land use may change to commercial and residential uses. Howard also owned and managed his own industrial property for over 18 years in Chicago. With more than 25 years of experience concentrating on the urban market, Howard offers a strong knowledge of real estate economics, taxation, construction costs and environmental issues. Howard's philosophy in serving the metro Chicago commercial real estate client is simply to work smart. He prides himself on assessing a property and pursuing the right clients for it (as opposed to waiting for the market to come to him). John Kosich

Mr. Kosich is a principal in Chicago Partners and has over 27 years of commercial real estate experience serving a diverse group of clientele. In 1987, after leading a family owned commercial real estate investment and brokerage business for four years, Mr. Kosich worked at Hiffman Shaffer Anderson where he represented many institutional and privately held owners of commercial real estate providing invaluable exposure to negotiating strategies from either the tenant or landlord position. He negotiated the purchase and sale of over 2,000,000 sq. ft. of bulk warehouse properties in suburban Detroit and the Chicago suburb of Bedford Park before becoming a founding principal member of GVA Chicago in 1996. Over the past twenty-seven years, John has provided exclusive tenant representation services for public and private companies negotiating over 1,000 leases totaling over 20,000,000 sq. ft. of space. He has negotiated over 100 purchase and sale agreements representing either buyers or sellers of commercial real estate properties. Mr. Kosich has used his experience and talent to solve his client's real estate problems on a local, regional, and national basis. During the last ten years, Mr. Kosich has been a principal in the development projects of the organization providing development, construction, leasing and management services for office properties, retail centers, and medical office buildings which total over 1,000,000 sq. ft. His responsibilities for the development team include: site assessments, market and feasibility studies, lease negotiations, governmental approvals, construction management, and negotiation of purchase and sale contracts. Jon Landsman

Jon is a licensed real estate broker with over 15 years experience in the equity index derivative market of futures and options trading. He is well versed in arbitrage tactics, market analysis, strategic planning and negotiating the best price for his clients. His deep passion for wine emerged into a level 1 wine sommelier certification and subsequent wine consulting business. Jon graduated from American University with a double major in International Business and Finance.

Laura DeWald - VP

Over a 25 year career in commercial real estate, Ms. DeWald has successfully represented the Owner/Landlord in over 8,000 lease and sublease transactions totaling over 10,000,000 square feet of office and industrial space. Since joining CTK Chicago Partners, formerly GVA Williams in 1999, DeWald's areas of expertise include tenant representation in new and renewed lease negotiations for office and industrial clients. On behalf of her tenant clients, she has closed more than $62 million in office and industrial transactions. Her background in owner representation as a BOMA certified RPA, gives her a unique perspective, and has given her the ability to effectively negotiate all aspects of the leasing process for the benefit of the tenants she represents. In addition to Tenant Representation, DeWald has represented many corporations as well as individual land owners in Acquisition & Disposition, Build-to-Suit/New Construction, Site Selection, Market Value & Research Assessment, and Financial Analysis. She has extensive experience and knowledge of re-zoning of parcels and properties, design phase, coordinating the architect and contractors throughout construction on behalf of her clients is a distinctive attribute. Maria Fitzgerald

Maria has been providing administrative support services to successor GVA real estate companies for the last 23 years, starting at Rubloff and following principals of GVA to Mesirow Realty, Chicago Realty Group, and GVA Chicago. She currently manages the daily operations for GVA Chicago, now CTK Chicago Partners Suburban Office, including bookkeeping, payroll, and secretarial support for partners, handling confidential employee and client information. She also oversees health insurance plan, 401K plan, vacation schedule, and other human resource elements.

Michael Tomasz - Chairman

Michael Tomasz, formerly with IBM, began his real estate career in 1974 with what is now known as Paine Wetzel. In 1976 Mr. Tomasz joined CB Commercial (now CB Richard Ellis). He joined the Shidler Group in 1986 as managing partner of the Chicago office, where he helped acquire, finance, lease, manage and dispose of more than $270 million of commercial property. In 1994, Mr. Tomasz was a founder of First Industrial Realty Trust. He served as its president and chief executive officer from 1994 to 1998. Under his leadership, the company grew from an initial total capitalization of $750 million to approaching $4 billion, becoming one of the largest owners/operators of industrial property in the U.S. Also under his leadership, in the years from 1995 through 1997, First Industrial provided investors a 140% total return-the best performance of all dedicated industrial property real estate investment trusts during that time period. In April 2001, William Kritt & Co. was purchased by Michael Tomasz and Harvey Camins, two of Chicago real estate's most distinguished names, to later be known as Camins Tomasz Kritt.

Richard J. Larson

Richard J. Larson specializes in industrial and office properties. He offers particular expertise in multi-tenant office or industrial properties. Rich has been with CTK Chicago Partners-City Properties since 2001. Prior to joining CTK, he held a variety of managerial positions over 20 years with GATX Corporation, focusing primarily on business development, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate investment/divestment initiatives. While at GATX, Rich negotiated approximately $300 million of industrial purchase or sale transactions in the United States and Europe. Before joining GATX Corporation, Rich worked for the Continental Group for 7 years. Early in his career, Rich was a USAF pilot over 9 years of active and reserve duty.

Steven Aaronson - VP

Steve Aaronson joined Camins Tomasz Kritt in 2002. He quickly established himself as one of the leading commercial real estate specialists in the Chicagoland area. An expert in lease negotiations and property acquisitions, Steve is an invaluable asset to his clients. Whether it be a 20,000 SF industrial property, 13,000 SF office building or a 3 acre development site, Steve is an expert. Steve started his career focused primarily on industrial real estate on the city's South and Southwest sides. Steve expanded his knowledge and expertise to the City's North and CBD areas. Steve is now an expert in Downtown Loop/CBD office space. Steve graduated from Columbia College and has been in sales since high school. He started his sales career as a media sales executive with numerous online brands ranging from start-ups to Disney. Steve is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
