CHESTNUT ST - Key Persons

Kelly Chen graduated from the illustration and design program at Capilano University. She started her career working primarily on website design and front-end development. A self-taught coder, she built her first website in Geocities and remembers the days of frames and animated text quite clearly. Whilst dabbling in basic HTML, Kelly naturally started creating graphics for her website, first using MS Paint, then moving onto Photoshop, and eventually realized that graphic design was a real profession. When not glued to a screen, Kelly enjoys lettering, a good book, sampling new food, and visiting new places.

Sindy Lau first joined the Pixel Foundry team in 2016 as a practicum student from BCIT. She helped build several client websites during her placement, and of course, has since built several more. Sindy has a great eye for detail, and is a talented illustrator and designer.
