UTD is centrally and strategically located in the heart of a high technology corridor, which is home to thousands of cutting-edge tech companies. With more than 100 dedicated faculty members and an annual $9 million+ expenditure on research across its focus areas, the UTD CS department is one of the largest, most dynamic departments of its kind in the United States... We offer BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees in both computer science and software engineering. We offer a broad range of courses in almost every area of computer science and software engineering at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Despite a large number of students, we keep our class sizes small by offering multiple sections for a given course.
