C.W. Mackie Group is a well-known conglomerate in Sri Lanka that specialises in manufacturing, exporting, and importing a wide range of products with the purpose of elevating the quality of life of our stakeholders... With the start of C.W. Mackie & Company in 1900 by Mr. C.W. Mackie as Merchants and Commission Agents, in 1946 it was converted to a public company. C. W. Mackie & Company Ltd became a public company in 1994 with the aim of raising capital funds for future diversification and expansion. In 2010, Lankem Ceylon PLC and Kotagala Plantations PLC became shareholders of 56.6% of shares of C. W. Mackie PLC. At present, the parent company of C. W. Mackie PLC is Lankem Ceylon PLC.
