DAMON CLARK ASSOCIATES

Damon Clark obtained his BSc (Eng) degree in 1976 and his MSc (Eng) in Soil Mechanics from Natal University in 1982. His Master of Science thesis was entitled "An Investigation into the Bearing Capacity of Clays". His primary experience is in geotechnical engineering, having worked within the geotechnical sections of the following geotechnical firms; D L Webb & Partners, Van Niekerk, Kleyn & Edwards, Steffen Robertson & Kirsten and Moore Spence Jones & Partners (Associate). In 1988, he formed his own engineering consultancy, Damon Clark Associates. Damon has a keen interest in computers, and has developed a number of computer programmes, the most recent of which is for the design of dry stack concrete block retaining walls. He has subsequently had his extremely user friendly slope stability programme "BISJAN" upgraded and both these programmes can be downloaded from this website... BISJAN is a slope stability analysis program that allows the user options of using either Bishop's Slip..
