Steve is a talented developer, skilled in a spectrum of programming languages (procedural, event-driven and object-oriented) focusing primarily on those associated with Microsoft's .NET Framework: VB.NET, ASP.NET and C#.NET. He is also proficient in a number markup and scripting languages of which VBScript, HTML and XML are representative. In addition to programming languages, Steve is well versed in database design and administration, Reporting Services, Integration Services and Team Foundation Server. He is also knowledgeable with respect to data encryption and with Payment Card Industries Association (PCIA) security requirements for the storage, transmission and processing of credit card data. His career includes extensive work migrating data between disparate platforms, performing such tasks as extracting, transferring and loading data, converting unstructured data into structured data (normalizing), as well as de-normalizing transaction-based data into forms more suitable for analysis and reporting.
