New PC's and Laptops no longer have RS232 ports. There is thus a requirement for a USB to RS232 converter. However, with some RS232 devices the error margin for an accurate baud rate is very small. Therefore, most commercially available USB to RS232 converters does not work properly. We have designed a USB to RS232 converter that works properly.
