BARRY - Key Persons

A Materials Engineering graduate, Barry has over 20 years industry experience, with the majority of these dedicated to medical device development. Barry held a variety of R&D and project management roles in materials development and medical devices before establishing Medical Device and Materials Consulting in 2009. Based in Galway at the heart of Ireland's medical device community, Barry provides materials and device expertise to a range of indigeneous companies, start-ups and multi-nationals. Barry is a named inventor on 20 issued and published medical device patents as well as having authored several peer-reviewed articles in the field. He also holds a part-time research and teaching position at the National University of Ireland, Galway.
