The goals of the 2018 Guide to WAN Architecture and Design (The Guide) are to discuss the state of WAN architecture and design with an emphasis on the current SD-WAN solutions, and to provide insight into the emergence of solutions that leverage the key concepts of SDN and NFV to support all components of the WAN edge.
