DSC - Key Persons
Bob has been in the industry for over 36 years becoming DSC's Electrical Director in 2015. He is an integral part of the marketing team in addition to being responsible for programming and managing the office workload and co-ordinating the various engineering disciplines.
A time served electrician Bob has extensive installation and design experience, benefiting from a practical understanding of fit within buildings and minimising the impact of the services with sympathetic integration.
Outside the office Bob is first and foremost a family man who enjoys working on home projects with his 2 boys, collecting wine, attending concerts, walking his 3 dogs and driving his 1988 MK1 Supercharger Toyota MR2.
Brett has a wide knowledge of building services having worked within multi-discipline engineering practices for over 20 years. He has comprehensive experience across many market sectors including master planning, commercial, retail, residential, health and education. He has practiced as a professional engineer in both in Australia and the USA.
He has an appreciation of architecture and respect for the cost and buildability of building services design. Academically, Brett has been a guest lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney. Whilst commercially, Clients enjoy working with Brett because he listens to their needs, is thorough and is passionate about his work. He has a proven track record in project leadership and managing teams.
DSC welcomes Brett to the family, and we are both delighted he has settled into our award-winning practice and excited about the skills and experience he adds to our team.
To relax Brett enjoys camping, mountain biking and getaways to the family farm in Mudgee with his wife and two children. He's a renovation enthusiast and partakes in friendly battle of the lawns with neighbours.

Jeremy joined DSC in 1998 as an Engineer and was promoted to Mechanical Associate Director for 9 years until he became a Principal in 2020. He is an integral part of the management team, with responsibilities in all aspects of the Mechanical discipline as well as internal project management.
With a focus on client satisfaction, Jeremy takes a proactive and collaborative approach into every project. He prides himself on delivering intelligent services solutions and high quality documentation.
Jeremy believes in a healthy balance between work and family, and is always looking ahead to the next family 4WD adventure with his wife and three girls.

Mel is a founder of DSC and has been involved at a senior level since 1983. He has extensive engineering experience having worked in a number of countries including the UK, USA, Canada and Hong Kong.
Mel is well known in the industry and has established a reputation for providing a personalised, hands on approach when attending to client's needs.
A member of the Hash House Harriers since 1974, Mel is still actively involved with them.
Robert joined DSC in 1999 as the Mechanical Director bringing significant experience through working in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Australia. In a career of some 40 years, he now focuses on the continual improvement of the business and manages the firm's information technology and finances.
Robert challenges his mechanical team to develop solutions that strike the appropriate balance between innovation, sustainability and practicality, also recognising clients long term ownership expectations of reliability, maintainability and cost effectiveness.
Outside the office Robert enjoys time with his family and continues to develop horsemanship skills with his two Australian Stock Horses.
Rod has been in the industry for over 20 years joining DSC as the Hydraulic and Fire Principal at the commencement of 2019. He has gained significant experience from working throughout Australia, the UK and Canada.
Coming from a contracting background, Rod has extensive experience in Hydraulic installation and design. He develops high performing teams and maintains strong client relationships by providing practical and innovative solutions. for clients.
Outside the office Rod enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys along with fishing, golf and home renovation projects.
