Chad Matthews Pipe Foreman

Job Titles:

Chad has been with EDI since 2012. He started his career as a laborer on a pipe crew. He eventually worked his way up through operator in training, and then to an Engineering Tech. He received his NICET (National Institute of Engineering Technologies) and ACI (American Concrete Institute) certificates, then went on to work as a skilled tradesman building lift stations. Chad advanced to Pipe Crew Foreman and acquired several more certifications including Water Distribution System Operator and Wastewater Collections System Operator. He has much experience installing large diameter municipal pipelines and came to EDI with a vast knowledge that set him above the rest, making him a perfect fit for our team.

Gary Cobb

Job Titles:
  • Site Superintendent
After serving as a Marine, Garry Cobb began his career with EDI as an equipment operator in 1995. Two years later he moved into a pipe foreman position, where he was responsible for all underground utilities, water, sewer and storm, until he was promoted to Superintendent. In his current position, Gary manages sites while working closely with the owners and General Superintendent. He is responsible for erosion control, clearing, grading, and works in conjunction with our Pipe and Grading Foremen. Gary has a true talent in managing and supervising subcontractor crews. One thing is for sure, if Gary is managing a site, it can be guaranteed the outcome will provide the quality work that Earth Development is known for.

Guy Rimoldi - VP

Jessica Brown

Job Titles:
  • Office Manager
Jessica hails from North Carolina and began her journey in the banking industry in 1992. She eventually moved to Georgia in 1998 to run and managed a cable installation company before joining the EDI team in 2000, as our Accounts Payable and Office Manager. Jessica brought with her a multitude of experience from her time in the banking industry, an understanding of the construction world, and an in-depth knowledge of the Nextel system. In her current role, Jessica is responsible for all administrative duties, HR, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable. She truly is the adhesion that holds our office together.

Justus Esarey

Job Titles:
  • Superintendent
Justus is one of EDI's longest standing employees. Growing up on a farm, he began running farm tractors at the age of eight, four wheel drive tractors at twelve, combines at fourteen, caterpillar equipment at age fifteen, and flying aircrafts at age sixteen. To say he was born mechanically inclined is an understatement. Justus' love of all things mechanical led him to get a degree in power and machine technology, after which he began working for Morgan and Rimoldi Construction operating an 815 compactor. Justus is now one of our premier Superintendents and has worked with us for nearly 30 years.

Keith Barber Field

  • Operations Manager
Keith Joined EDI in 1994, and is responsible for all field operations. He has over 40 years of experience in all phases of site development and utility operations. While working closely with supervisors, crews, surveyors, subcontractors, and mechanics, Keith's strong organizational skills make it possible for him to prioritize repairs, and to schedule manpower and equipment moves to keep all projects running as efficiently as possible. A successful job completed on time, and within budget brings Keith great satisfaction. He is truly one of the best in the industry!

Mark Ashe

Job Titles:
  • Heavy Equipment Transport Specialist
Shortly after graduating high school, Mark joined the Marine Corps. He remained in the Marines until he was honorably discharged in 1984, at which point he went on to earn a degree in Criminal Justice from Southwestern Tech. Mark started his profession in the industry as an equipment operator, then eventually moved to Georgia to perform heavy equipment transporting. Mark joined EDI in 1996, as our Heavy Equipment Transport Specialist. He is one of the best in his profession, whether moving heavy iron in and out of tight traffic congested areas or on the open highway. When EDI's equipment is scheduled to be relocated, Mark makes it happen, safety and delivered on time.

Mark Lane

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Mark Lane holds a degree in Mineral Economics from Penn State University and started in the construction industry right out of college. He moved to Atlanta and joined EDI's Estimator/Project Management team in 2006. Mark's 30+ years in the site grading and utility business shows in his estimating, project management, purchasing, and project coordination with field personnel, detailed project documentation and superior communication with customers. Mark is an absolute asset to our team.

Michael Reddy Pipe Foreman

As a young teenager, Michael went to work for his father's pipeline company. He started as a laborer and worked his way up through the ranks. Eventually, Michael was running all day to day operations until the company's closing. Michael has recently joined the EDI team, bringing with him 30+ years of experience. In his short time here, he has already proven to be an excellent addition to our company.

Robert Lange

Job Titles:
  • Superintendent
Robert joined our team in 2003, as an equipment operator. He quickly advanced within the company to foreman, and then to superintendent. Robert has supervised the successful construction of several types of construction projects throughout the country, including retail/mixed use, corporate office, multi-family, residential/commercial, and road construction projects. His extensive experience with supervising and the construction management of commercial developments ensure each project is completed to exceed expectations.

Robert Mullins

Job Titles:
  • Grading Foreman
Robert has been an essential part of the EDI team for over 15 years. He started with us as a laborer and quickly progressed through the ranks. He oversees operations from clearing to finish grading. Robert always works hard to ensure each job is on time and on budget. He consistently exemplifies the principles and mission that EDI was founded on.

Steve Jones

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Steve has been an integral part of EDI's management team for over 15 years as an Estimator and Project Manager. He graduated from University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree and has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, including multi-family residential, water/wastewater, heavy/highway, and nuclear construction.

William "Bucky" Cook

Job Titles:
  • Grading Foreman
William has worked a vast array of construction projects throughout his career. He has been a valued member of the team at EDI since 2008, and puts his lifetime of construction experience to use as one of our elite Grading Foremen. His ability to supervise and implement grading operations on projects in a timely, yet cost effective manner ensures that they are consistently completed to our customers' satisfaction.
