Amber Poston

Amber Poston has worked as a deputy public defender with the Orange County Public Defender's Office since 2015. She worked as a deputy public defender with the Yolo County Public Defender's Office from 2007 to 2015. As a law student she worked as a law clerk for the Yolo County Public Defender's Office, the Santa Clara Public Defender's Office and the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia. Amber graduated from University of the Pacific McGeorge SOL in 2006. Amber graduated from University of California San Diego with degrees in Economics and Political Science in 2003. Over the course over 60 trials and numerous contested hearings in juvenile delinquency, post-conviction and mental health she has represented countless indigent clients following appointment by the court. Amber also serves at the Vice-President of the Orange County Attorney's Association.
