Brandon Weber

Brandon Weber is an experienced veteran of emergency services. He has worked in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) since 1995; one year as a Basic EMT, and the remaining years as a Paramedic. He has been a Firefighter since 1997 and a Police Officer since 1999. He also has in depth training and experience in Emergency Management, Hazardous Materials, Emergency Preparedness, and Counter-Terrorism. He is designated as a Professional Emergency Manager by the Michigan State Police Emergency Management & Homeland Security Division, and is licensed as a Paramedic Instructor-Coordinator in the State of Michigan. Brandon earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Law Enforcement from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 1998 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University, Summa Cum Laude, in Criminal Justice with a minor in Public Administration in 2004. He has trained extensively with numerous agencies at the federal, state, and local levels, including the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Justice Department, FEMA, OSHA, US EPA, Michigan State Police, area Sheriff's and Police Departments, Fire Departments, Emergency Management, and EMS agencies. Brandon currently works as a full-time Police Officer for the City of Otsego, as well as a Firefighter/Paramedic. He is currently the Fire Chief in Otsego. Additionally, Brandon works at Plainwell Area EMS on some of his days off from the City of Otsego as a Paramedic. Brandon also serves on the Allegan County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC). He also represents Allegan County Fire Departments on the local Medical Control Authority and 911 Policy Board. He also owns and operates Weber Emergency Services, LLC, a training and consulting company providing education and associated services to emergency response organizations throughout Michigan and surrounding states.
