Philippa Savvides

Philippa has a strong interest and is experienced in the assessment of lower limb biomechanics and sporting injuries - children and adults. Philippa has a competitive sporting background in both long distance running, triathlons, and netball; enabling her to relate specifically to the athlete and management of sporting injury.

Rachel-Ann Isaacs

Rachel is a passionate Podiatrist and team member at Eltham Physiotherapy Centre graduating from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Podiatric Practice. She is a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and is commited to the ongoing development of Podiatry. Rachel takes pride in providing patients with a holistic and personalised treatment plan to improve pain, resolve injury, and enable patients to reach their goals. She has a strong interest in all aspects of Podiatry particularly heel pain and plantar fasciitis, and is dedicated to patient education; providing care at all patient levels ranging from general foot care to Diabetes. Rachel has played Golf and Football and continues to maintain an active lifestyle hence understanding the importance of returning to sport from injury.

Stephen McMurray

Stephen brings over 26 years of clinical experience to our practice and has been consulting in Eltham for the past 17 years. He has a diverse background with degrees in both Podiatry and Physical Education, along with Tertiary teaching experience. His Fellowship to the Australasian Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine was awarded in 1994. Stephen's practice oversees a wide range of Foot Health needs including the management of sports injuries, and children's growth and development. Stephen has participated in many sports at a high level and has coaching experience with many athletes in both their individual strength and conditioning programs, and at a team level. This has led to a lifetime interest in sport in particular Track and Field and cricket. Stephen embraces the opportunity to assist injured sports people at all levels. Recently Stephen has gained additional training in the area of cycling orthotics, and is fully qualified in the use of Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for injury management.
