Expanding knowledge is our ultimate goal. That is even reflected in our name: Eolas -- the Gaelic word for knowledge. We aim to find the truth of what is and what can be. As one of our heroes, Alan Kay, once said: "The only way to successfully predict the future is to invent it."... We showed the world the first web cloud application system in 1993, and we continue to advance the technology today... Our reason for being is to invent. Our model is to create great inventions, license those inventions to companies that can make the most of them, and then to reinvest to create more great inventions.
