Haruki Umezawa (1970) was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Eneco on 1 March 2024. Haruki Umezawa has worked for Mitsubishi Corporation since 1993 where he has held a number of different financial roles in Japan, the United States and Thailand.

Jeanine Tijhaar (1972) was appointed as member of the management board as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Eneco per February 2021. Jeanine Tijhaar joined Eneco in 2017 as CFO Netherlands and director Finance & Risk. From 2000 to 2016 she worked for Akzo Nobel, most recently as financial director of the business unit Vehicle Refinishes, where she was a member of the Executive Management Team. Prior to that, she was financial director of various other Akzo Nobel business units, both in Spain and in the Netherlands. She started her career in 1996 at DSM.

Kees-Jan Rameau

Kees-Jan Rameau (1962) was appointed member of the management board as Chief Operating Officer Integrated Energy (COO-IE) of Eneco on 1 February 2017. From 1 April 2008 until 1 February 2017 he was a member of the management board of Eneco Holding N.V. He started his career at Eneco as strategy director at the beginning of 2004. At the beginning of 2007, he was appointed Business to Business director. Before Rameau joined Eneco, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group, TPG (now TNT) and McKinsey & Company, where he was active in the fields of strategy, finance and operations. He studied Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Mel Kroon - Chairman

Mel Kroon (1957) was appointed to the Supervisory Board of Eneco on 24 March 2020 and reappointed on 1 April 2024. Mel Kroon was CEO of many different companies with a workforce of up to 4,000 over a period of 21 years. Between 1984 and 2018 he worked for Fokker Aircraft N.V., Holec B.V., SNS Reaal B.V. and TenneT Holding B.V. (in that order). Mel Kroon is Officer of the Order of Orange-Nassau.

Selina Thurer (1973) was appointed member of the management board and Chief Operating Officer Customer (COO-C) of Eneco per May 2022. From 2000 to 2022, Selina Thurer worked for Philips, most recently as senior vice president & general manager of Philips Personal Health North America. Prior to that, she was global business leader Philips Kitchen Appliances (Amsterdam) and general manager Personal Health Philips Asia Pacific (Singapore), among others. Thurer studied Management & Organisation (MSc) at the University of Groningen.

Yasuyuki Asakura

Yasuyuki Asakura (1965) was appointed to the Management Board of Eneco as Chief Cooperation & International Officer (CCIO) on 1 May 2024. Yasuyuki Asakura started his career at Mitsubishi Corporation in 1991 after receiving his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Waseda University. He held many executive positions within the company in a number of different countries: Japan, Indonesia and the United States. Since April 2021 he has been the Senior Vice President, General Manager for Power Solution Group CEO Office and responsible for the business, investment and HR strategy of the Power Solution Group as the head of the strategic support organization. He is well experienced in overseas power projects, having been involved in IPP (Independ Power Producer) business development in Indonesia and Mexico in his early career, and having spent 10 years on secondment to DGC, the US power business development part of Mitsubishi Corporation, from 2005 to 2015, including 4 years as President. Finally, he was responsible for the acquisition of Eneco Groep N.V. as Division COO.
