Originally a journalist, Alicia is a senior manager with a proven track record in media, marketing, communications and market research - especially in complex and highly regulated environments. She has experience in the development and implementation of both traditional and social media campaigns, key message development and targetting (including qualitative and competitor research), as well as the development of practical and direct marketing and communications audits and plans.
Alicia heads up a small team of professionals, providing contemporary and credible marketing and communication direction and general leadership to position and develop the brand, and manage the reputation and profile of Equity Trustees.

Andrew has 30+ years of experience in financial services, including leadership roles across superannuation, wealth, financial advice and insurance. His experience has spanned operations, technology, master trusts and administration, client delivery, transformation and change and risk. He has spent significant periods of his career with Mercer where he was COO prior to joining Equity Trustees.
Andrew leads the Corporate and Superannuation Trustee Services business.
He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Victoria in 1962 and a Partner at Hedderwicks, Fookes and Alston Solicitors between 1967 and 1984. He has been a Partner at Arthur Robinson and Hedderwicks since 1984.
Chairman from August 2007 to October 2018. Prior to joining Equity Trustees, Tony was a former Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Ltd, having had a 36 year career with the National Mutual/AXA group. He was also Chairman of Australia's largest not-for-profit health services provider, Sisters of Charity Health Service Ltd. Tony was also a non-executive director of listed company IRESS Market Technology Ltd and Chairman of Sisters of Charity Community Care Ltd, and Chairman of Templeton Growth Fund Ltd. In 2011, Mr Killen was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia.

Carol is a non-executive director of the Boards of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Qualitas Property Partners and the Trawalla Group. Ms Schwartz is also the founding Chair of the Women's Leadership Institute Australia and also of Our Community - she remains chair of both Boards.
Carol was previously Chair of Industry Superannuation Property Trust, one of Australia's largest superannuation property groups, a non-Executive Director of Stockland Group Limited, and National President of the Property Council of Australia. In 2004, she founded the Trawalla Foundation with her family so they could target their philanthropy on funding exceptional individuals and organisations focused on strengthening gender equality, creativity, sustainability and social justice.
Among the many awards and accolades in her career, in 2019 Ms Schwartz was awarded Queen's Birthday Honours for her service to the community as a supporter of women in leadership, social justice advocacy and to business. She has an Honorary Doctorate from Monash University, has been inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame, made an Honorary Life Member of the Property Council of Australia, was recognised by Ernst & Young as the 2018 Champion of Entrepreneurship, Southern Region and inducted into the Victorian Women's Honour Roll.

Ms Robson is a highly skilled wealth strategist with over 20 years experience advising sophisticated high net worth individuals and family groups. Catherine founded successful financial services firm Affinity Private and her pioneering approach to high quality, commission free advice has earned her numerous awards. She commenced her career at Macquarie Bank, before spending 11 years as a senior adviser with NAB Private Wealth.
Ms Robson is a non-executive director of customer owned bank Greater Bank. She is also on the board of of Lumos Diagnostics Holdings Pty Ltd, SCALE Investors, which invests seed capital in exceptional gender diverse start-ups, and is chair of portfolio company TalkiPlay. She is a member of WEHI's Advocacy & Support Committee and Cancer Council Victoria's Investment Committee in addition to being a member of the Korowa Anglican Girls' School Council.
Charles has previously worked in intellectual property and business development in the medical devices sector, and as a project manager for Japanese multinational Itochu. He has also owned and operated rural interests in Australia for more than 20 years, and managed private and related family investments in Australian and international equities.

Chris brings more than 25 years of investment and portfolio experience to the team. Over his career, his Australian equities portfolios have consistently delivered consistent above-benchmark results at companies including Concord Capital, Northward Capital, Lendlease and Bankers Trust Australia.
Chris jointly established and managed Concord Capital from its inception in 1999 through to its sale in 2010. During this time, he managed the growth of funds under management from $100 million to over $6.5 billion, delivering consistent top-quartile returns. After the business was sold to Invesco Australia, Chris was appointed Head of Equities/Portfolio Manager of the Australian Equities portfolio.
Journalist and company director. He was Vice Chairman from 1955 to 1965. He was also Chairman of Colonial Mutual Life and Moran & Cato and on the Board of CapeI Court, Felt & Textiles. He served in both WWI and WWII.

Mr Sedgwick has more than 30 years' experience as a consultant to listed and unlisted Australian, Chinese and other Asian enterprises across financial services, and information technology. A partner in Accenture since 1993 (then Arthur Andersen & Co.), he was previously Managing Director of Accenture's Asia Pacific Insurance and Wealth Management business.
Mr Sedgwick is a Director of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority and The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra where he Chairs its Foundation Committee, and Advancement Committee. He is a Director of Queens College Melbourne Limited (University of Melbourne) and Chairs its Finance and Risk Committee. He is also Chair of the Queens College Trust Corporation. He was previously Chair of ALI Group, and Australian Tourist Park Management.
With strengths in financial reporting and risk management, Mr Sedgwick also brings to the Board extensive knowledge in strategy development.

Dandan joined the Fixed Income team in June 2022 working with Allister Lahood and Tim Gallagher as an Income Asset Portfolio Analyst. Darren has 30 years of experience as an investment director and portfolio manager. Dilan brings over 13 years of financial services experience. She joined Equity Trustees from Warakirri where she worked in the business development team managing the group's not-for-profit client base. Before this, she spent 10 years at JBWere, beginning her career in operations before moving into private wealth management as a senior analyst. During her time at JBWere, she was responsible for managing relationships across many charitable and not-for-profit clients.

George has more than 36 years of investment experience including managing long only, long/short equity and global equity portfolios. Grant joined Equity Trustees as an investment specialist in philanthropy, servicing a range of for-purpose organisations. Grant's role enables him to combine his professional investment expertise with his passion for the for-purpose sector.

Lindsay has over 30 years of investment experience where he has held senior roles in Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Potter Warburg and Westpac.
Lindsay has extensive experience in capital market syndications and orginisatons, hybrids, derivatives, swaps, credit derivatives, credit securities and bond trading. Lindasy was Vice Chairman of the Debt Capital Markets Committee and was a sub-Editor of the AFMA Dealers Handbook and Interest Rates Handbook. Paul has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was previously a senior investment analyst at boutique fund manager Contango Asset Management for 13 years and a sell-side equity analyst with Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank for four years. His responsibilities included analysing and investing in a large range of ASX-listed stocks, adding considerable value to the portfolios he serviced.
Managing Director from 2003 to 2010. Peter came to Equity Trustees with broad experience in investments, insurance and superannuation, having worked in Australia and internationally with the listed insurance company, AXA (previously National Mutual Ltd). In 2000, Peter was appointed General Manager, Superannuation & Portfolio Services at Perpetual Limited. Directorships include NM Superannuation Pty Ltd including two years as its Chairman and two years as the National President of the Trustee Corporations Association of Australia. Peter was a Director and Vice-Chairman of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. In February 2005, he was appointed to the Board of the Australian Baseball Federation and in August 2009, he was appointed to the Board of Olympic Park Sports Medical Centre Pty Ltd.

Mr Gentry has more than 25 years' experience in leadership positions within financial services, property, agribusiness, international trade, commodities and logistics.
Mr Gentry's previous roles have included Managing Director of Agrium Asia Pacific, CFO of AWB. He has also, held a variety of senior roles at ANZ Bank ranging from Corporate Banking, Strategic Development and Investor Relations to Global Head of Commodity and Trade Finance.
Mr Gentry received an MBA from IMD in Switzerland in 1991 and completed the Stanford Executive Program in 2010. He is a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He graduated from the Royal Military College, Duntroon in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science from the University of NSW.

Richard has more than 34 years of experience in the Australian and international equity markets, having worked in Sydney, Hong Kong, and London throughout his career. Richard was instrumental in founding EightBays Investment Management, before which he was Managing Director at JP Morgan Australia and held several senior roles including Head of Australian and NZ Equity Syndicate during his 17 year tenure.

Rob is an experienced executive with over 35 years' experience in complex commercial and leadership roles, as well as 25 years as an Advisory and Assurance Partner in a Big 4 Accounting and Consulting firm.
During his career he has also committed himself in a voluntary Director capacity to renowned institutions including The Victorian College of the Arts, where he was Finance Director for 10 years, and an Advisory Board member at Monash University Accounting and Finance Faculty for 22 years. As a sportsman, he represented Victoria at the elite level in Field Hockey as a player, coach, and Chairman of the sport for over 25 years. Rob was a Director of the Richmond Football Club, from 2004 - 2019, and held roles including Deputy Chair, Chair of Audit and Risk, and Chair of subsidiary Aligned Leisure.

Russell has overall responsibility for the operational compliance of all Responsible Entity and Corporate Trustee relationships within Australia. He joined Equity Trustees as Senior Relationship and Product Manager in February 2005. Subsequent appointments within Equity Trustees have included National Manager, Corporate Fiduciary Services and Head of Fund Services Australia. Russell also acted in the capacity of Chief Risk Officer for Equity Trustees for a period of 9 months to February 2019.
Russell has more than 40 years' experience in the financial services industry, holding senior positions within funds management and retail banking. Previous roles include: Communication Manager, MLC Investment Management; Portfolio Manager, National Australia Funds Management; Senior Manager Operations, County Investment Management; and various retail banking appointments within National Australia Bank.

Siew joined Equity Trustees as part of the acquisition and integration of the ANZ Trustees business. She has 25 years of experience in funds management and trustee investment services, and more than 15 years of experience managing portfolios at all levels, ranging from common funds to trusts and client portfolios. She is involved in model portfolio management and is responsible for dealing across all common funds and mandates. Siew is also the secretary to the Asset Allocation Committee and Management Investment Committee.
Politician and jurist. He retired upon his appointment as Chief Justice High Court of Australia. Earlier, he held general retainers with several companies. In 1925 he became the Federal Attorney General and, in 1932, he was the Australian representative to Geneva disarmament conference.
High Court of Australia Judge from 1972 to 1982 and Governor-General of Australia from 1982 to 1990.
During the company's long history, Prime Ministers, High Court judges and Governor-Generals have sat on our Board. Sir Robert G. Menzies was among them, sitting on the Board until he became Prime Minister in 1939.
Chairman from 1941 to 1943. He was a Board member of CUB and Victoria Insurance. He was also Lord Mayor of Melbourne from 1926 to 1928. The Morell Bridge over the Yarra River is named in his honour.
Founder of the vast Angliss Meat empire, he financed a hospitality school in Melbourne. He was also a Member Victorian Legislative Council from 1912 to 1952.
Politician and jurist. Served until appointment as Chief Justice of Victoria where he served for 17 years and earned the nickname 'Iceberg' Irvine. He became Premier of Victoria in 1902 and later Attorney General.

Steve has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Equity Trustees, he was a member of UBS Asset Management's Australian equity team. Prior to that he was a senior portfolio manager at QBE, where he was responsible for the group's European, US and Australian equity portfolios.

Before joining Equity Trustees six years ago, Thi was an investment analyst with Melbourne-based boutique asset consultant firm Atchison Consultants, where he was responsible for quantitative analysis, manager selection and portfolio construction across all asset classes. He was also responsible for financial modelling across the direct property spectrum, including single direct assets (office and property), residential property development and unlisted property trusts.

Tim is responsible for undertaking all day-to-day mortgage lending operations and portfolio management of the Fund. Tim is a key individual within the business and was appointed as a Responsible Manager under the AFSL of Equity Trustees in 2017 and in December 2021 he was appointed the new role of Head of Mortgages.
Tim is also an Accredited Finance Broker (Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia - Full Member) and has over 15 years' experience in the finance industry, specialising in Residential, Commercial and Construction Property Finance, Credit and Lending Analysis and Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining Equity Trustees, Tim was Senior Relationship Manager at Australian Securities Limited. Tim has also worked for various financial institutions including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Bank of Melbourne and RateSetter UK (peer-to-peer lender in the United Kingdom).

Mr Hammon was CEO of Mutual Trust Pty Ltd, from 2007 to 2017, building the business to become a leading Australian multi-family office servicing high net worth clients. Prior to that he was in leadership positions with Coles Myer Ltd for 11 years and Mallesons Stephen Jaques for 4 years. He began his career in law with Mallesons Stephen Jaques and was a partner at the firm for 12 years (1984 - 1996) after graduating in law and commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Mr Hammon has held Board positions with not-for-profit organisations, the Abbotsford Convent Foundation and St Catherine's School and currently is an Ambassador for the fund raising campaign for the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery. Mr Hammon is currently a non-executive director of Vicinity Centres, an ASX listed Real Estate Investment Trust.
