Tom is an eighth generation Kentuckian who also has three sons who live in the local area. Tom has degrees from both Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky. He is an avid student of Kentucky history, an amateur genealogist and a member of the Filson Club. Tom was born in Louisville, graduated from Ballard High School and attended Hanover College and the University of Kentucky. He is a former high school baseball coach and has over fifteen years of experience in the monument business working for both Rock of Ages Corporation and Evans Monument Company. He is married to the former Deynese Johnson of Oldham County and has four children.
