Guy Facey is an English and Hong Kong solicitor with over 30 years' experience. He trained at Lovells, a tier one global law firm in London. He has twice been an in-house counsel in listed aerospace and automotive engineering groups, and he worked at the first mainland Chinese law firm in London. As the founding partner of Facey & Associates in Hong Kong, Guy advises international investment companies and entrepreneurs on corporate deals (venture capital, fintech, blockchain, mergers & acquisitions, aircraft acquisition and leasing deals, joint ventures). Many of Guy's matters involve investments in Asia, and particularly mainland China. Guy has also acted for Hong Kong, mainland Chinese and Taiwanese companies on their investments in the UK and Europe.

Robin Weir is an English solicitor and Foreign Legal consultant in the firm. He trained and qualified at Linklaters, a ‘magic circle' law firm, in London. Before joining Facey & Associates he was a senior associate in the Shanghai office of US law firm Dorsey & Whitney, where he worked for over five years. Robin advises international companies on doing business in mainland China, including acquisitions joint ventures and wholly foreign-owned enterprises and transformation and turnaround of failing businesses. He also acts for Hong Kong and Chinese companies doing business in the UK and USA. Robin has also worked as a publisher and journalist. He was the founding editor of China Business Law Journal, a bilingual legal magazine established in 2009. He also worked in Beijing as senior China consultant with Hong Kong investment bank Crosby Corporate Advisory. He is the author of numerous articles on business and law in China, and related topics. Robin has lived and worked in mainland China for more than 13 years and in Hong Kong for more than 6 years.
