Chris has been a part of Fichtner Services since Tom first started the business in 1994. As the business grew, she took on more roles within the company, from accounting to HR to answering the phones, she has done it all when it needed to be done. Currently, she manages the marketing efforts and assists with the sales department.
Chris grew up in the Arnold area and attended Broadneck High School. She went on to earn a degree from Towson University and was a teacher for 2 years until she decided to join Tom at Fichtner Services. Chris and Tom have 3 children - a son at Virginia Tech, and a son and daughter at Archbishop Spalding High School. Chris coached her daughter's lacrosse and field hockey teams all though her rec league career for the Davidsonville Gators. Now, she enjoys watching the kids from the sidelines. Chris enjoys traveling, especially to warm, sunny places, and spending time with her family.

Douglas has worked for Fichtner Services for 14 years. He started out with us as a full time gutter installer but we soon found out he was looking for bigger challenges. He is now our commercial flat roofing and walkable roof deck expert. He is also very proficient with standing seam metal, gutters and shingle work. Douglas is originally from El Salvador, emigrating to the US with his 2 brothers when massive mudslides devastated their town.

Jack was born in Charleston, South Carolina but grew up right here in Annapolis, MD. He graduated from St. Mary's high school in 2015 and went on to play lacrosse at UMBC. Jack graduated from UMBC in 2019 with a degree in media and communications. Jack enjoys golfing, fishing, and watching Philadelphia Eagles football.
Jan has had a 43 year career in the roofing industry and been with Fichtner Services since 2011. As the Jobsite Supervisor, Jan places extreme importance towards complete customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
When he's not working, he's likely to be found spending time with his family including eight grandchildren. He enjoys taking his motorcycle out on country rides to clear his mind and get closer to God. Jan roots for the Ravens and Orioles and likes playing cards.

Jose is our specialty roofing mechanic as well as our lead gutter man. He has a wealth of knowledge in all roofing systems, including cedar, slate, flat roofing and shingles. Jose also is a master in the arts of guttering and siding. Jose has worked with us since 2003. He is originally from Mexico and now resides in Woodbridge, Virginia, a 1.5 hour commute each way, (with no traffic) with his wife and 4 sons. His dedication has been unbelievable and he elevates our company with his work ethic and craftsmanship.
Kevin's career in the roofing industry spans more than three decades. He has been with Fichtner Services since 2011. Kevin is a very valuable member of our team as he is knowledgeable in all types of roofing and is our in-house leak finding expert. He finds great joy in finding a pesky leak that other companies can't seem to locate. He is a true believer in doing things 100% correct the first time. He is certified by all the major shingle brand manufacturers as well as Firestone.
Kevin spends as much time as he can riding his Harley. He enjoys pool, archery and fishing on his boat in the Chesapeake Bay.
Mary Ann is a part of our Accounting team. Her attention to detail is second to none and she keeps us organized! Mary Ann grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland in Chestertown. She has 3 grown children and 6 grand babies ages 14, 8, 6, 5, 4, 2 and loves them dearly. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as fishing, motorcycle riding and traveling with her boyfriend Bob.
Mike has been with Fichtner Services since 2003. He is extremely knowledgeable in all roof and siding applications. He is able to assist customers in making decisions about the best systems to install on their homes.
Mike grew up in the Catonsville area of Baltimore County. He now lives in Westminster with his wife, two children, three dogs, a cat and a pig! He enjoys sports, rooting for his hometown teams the Orioles and Ravens. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and "hacking" around a golf course.
Nolan has worked for Fichtner Services since 2004 and he is our in-house expert on window and door installation, Acrymax applications as well as any other remodeling projects. He has been trained by the manufacturers on the installation of both Marvin and ProVia windows and doors. He holds an Installation Masters Window and Door Certificate through AAMA, the American Architectural Manufacturers Association, a nationwide training and certification program for new construction and replacement installers. He has also completed the Acrymax Approved Applicator training.
Nolan, an Anne Arundel County native, attended St. Mary's and then earned his BA from the University of Maryland. He and his wife, Kelly, have 2 very active young boys who he coaches in both soccer and lacrosse for the BAYS. Kelly is a high school science teacher for AA County. Nolan hasn't traveled far from his roots, living in Arnold. He is very active in his community and is the Past-President of his HOA and currently runs the neighborhood pool .
Nolan's areas of expertise confidently enables us to offer window and door replacements as part of our complete exterior remodeling package. He is an invaluable member of our team, and always has customer service and quality installation at the forefront of all of our installations.

Paul was born in Columbus, Indiana and grew up in Batesville, Indiana where he graduated from high school at in 2010. Paul just moved to Maryland in early September, 2021 to start his new career here at Fichtner Services! His hobbies include outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, horseback riding, and co-ed softball. Paul's profession requires him to be highly organized. He maintains inventory for the materials we keep on hand here at our shop as well as ordering materials for upcoming jobs. He assists our crews each morning with loading the correct materials they need for the jobs they have scheduled, enabling a smooth installation for our customers.
Paul has more than 40 years experience in the construction industry and has worked for Fichtner Services since 2007. He is very knowledgeable about roofing, gutter systems and repair, as well as the many different products available.
He enjoy fishing, hunting and watching lacrosse in his spare time. Paul also makes a mean chocolate pie that everyone fights over.
Ray has been with Fichtner Services since 2000. He joined us after graduating high school and worked his way up to supervisor position. Ray excels in his position because he cares deeply about his work and the reputation of Fichtner Services. He puts his customers first and is a great team player.
Ray lives in the Annapolis area with four kids and two dogs. He enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Orioles, long walks on the beach and riding his motorcycle.

As Fichtner's Production Assistant, Selina tackles many varied administrative tasks, customer service follow ups, and scheduling coordination. She is organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and a bit of a perfectionist enabling her to be really good at what she does! Selina was born in Washington, DC, but grew up all over the DMV area. Her family is from El Salvador and she the eldest of 4 siblings. She likes cars, camping, reading books, watching documentaries and hanging out with her 3 fur babies.
Stephanie Mazur joined Fichtner Services in 2021 as part of the Accounting team. She previously worked at a commercial roofing company for 15 years so brings a wealth of experience to Fichtner Services. Stephanie grew up right here in Anne Arundel County graduating from Old Mill High School. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and her cats. She also has a pet box turtle that she saved as a baby from the mean streets of Curtis Bay. Stephanie bleeds purple and black, Go Ravens!!!
Steve grew up in Gambrills, MD, and after living in North Carolina and Arizona, has now made a permanent home back in Gambrills with his wife and 2 young daughters. As a licensed salesman, he takes pride in providing honest and unbiased advice to homeowners, based on their best interest.
Prior to his employment with Fichtner Services, Steven served 13 years in the United States Marine Corps, which instilled in him, a strong work ethic and a sense of integrity. He enjoys brainstorming solutions to difficult problems, so bring him your toughest roof leak! Steve regularly volunteers his time to neighbors and friends, whenever they have something that needs to be fixed.
New to the team, Teresa Etzler is our Sales and Production Assistant. She has been a big help in keeping the company organized and running smoothly. She facilitates in scheduling and following up on jobs, scheduling estimate appointments and other general administrative tasks.
She enjoys camp fires, warm weather and spending time with family and friends. She is also a big Washington Capitals fan!
Tom founded Fichtner Services in 1994 and has never looked back. The company was founded on the values of quality craftsmanship and complete customer satisfaction. Tom is extremely grateful for all of the employees who have strived to uphold these values and make Fichtner Services what it is today. What Tom is most proud of, though, are the loyal customers who have supported his company over the years, sending countless referrals and voting Fichtner Services as one of the Best Roofing companies in the Annapolis area.
As a graduate of St. Mary's School in Annapolis and the University of Maryland, Tom is proud to have his business in Anne Arundel County and raise his family in the Annapolis area. Tom and his wife, Christine, have three children and are very active in the local community and charities. Tom played lacrosse at the University of Maryland for four years and now coaches all of his kids sports teams.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys playing golf, boating, and rooting for the Washington Football Team.
Tom Fichtner generously donated labor services to install the roof for the Butterfly Boutique as well as siding and gutters. Because of this amazing project, Fichtner Services was nominated and awarded the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) Gold Circle Award in the category of Service to the Community.
