Fine Scrap Metals (Pty) Ltd is one of the country's foremost metal recyclers. The FINE name has been synonymous with the Kwa-Zulu Natal and South African metal industry since Russian immigrant Jacob FINE, commenced scrap metal trading in Durban with a horse drawn cart in 1903. The company was founded in 1974 and acquired from the FINE family by the present shareholders in 2001, who have maintained the ethos of a successful family managed business.
