The Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) was founded in 1989 to protect forests, farmlands, gorges, and shorelines in the Finger Lakes region of New York. We have saved over 29,000 acres by creating public nature preserves and helping landowners to conserve their beloved properties. We are a small nonprofit organization. You can join and volunteer... Our works results in the conservation of our most cherished undeveloped landscapes - scenic farms, rugged gorges, majestic forests, and pristine shorelines. By conserving lands that are vital to water quality, we also help protect our drinking water and the future of the eleven lakes that are the heart of our region.
