In Francine Shannon, clients find a unique combination of marketing savvy and design skill. Most recently, Shannon co-founded Fresh Cut Grass, Inc., a marketing and advertising agency, with her husband and partner, Liam. The agency offers "Big City Creative" and "Backyard Sensibility," promising top talent at reasonable rates. From 1995 - 2000, Ms. Shannon was at the helm of The CyberMom Dot Com, a world-renowned, award-winning web site for women which Francine and her partner conceived of, created, and developed into one of the top 5 web sites for women on the internet (Lycos). CyberMom® was sold to and operated by Parents' Plus, Inc., founders of the Boston Parents' Paper from 1997- 2000 while Shannon maintained responsibility for the site's maintenance and development. In 2000, Shannon re-acquired all rights to the CyberMom® registered trademark and URL. Francine has also created strategically-sound, award-winning web sites for clients in the travel, education, health care and construction industries as well as for non-profit groups. When the National Pediculosis Association required a tool to cut down on their telephone interaction time and improve the dissemination of head lice information to schools and parents, Shannon planned and designed HeadlLice.org for them which was recognized in its first week online as one of the most informative, user-friendly sites in the health care category (Yahoo). Other clients have included the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College, the Fortress Corporation, and AutoSpace automated parking solutions. Shannon is also an accomplished writer and wrote a monthly humor/advice column for MacHome Journal in 1996 and 1997, as well as countless articles and reviews for "family-oriented women" in CyberMom.com. Shannon began her career in New York in account services at Young & Rubicam's corporate identity and packaging arm. In New York, Francine supervised primarily consumer accounts for clients such as Dannon, Bristol-Myers, J&J (Baby and Health Care). After relocating to Boston, Francine joined ELF (now Arnold Advertising) to handle the Thom McAn and Pilgrim Health Care accounts and to supervise project work for Filene's. Shannon holds a bachelor's degree from Lafayette College, an MBA in International Marketing from The Thunderbird School, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Boston University.

Liam Shannon

Liam has more than 15 years of experience in marketing communications, the past 10 of those years acting in supervisory roles at leading advertising agencies in New York and Boston. Recently Shannon left Trinity Communications to join his wife to form their own marketing firm, Fresh Cut Grass. In his role as a creative director and board member of Trinity Communications, Shannon led all branding, positioning and other strategically creative initiatives on behalf of clients in the ASP, business communications, wireless, and financial services categories. Prior to joining Trinity Communications, Liam held leadership positions at New York's Korey Kay & Partners and Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide, as well as Boston's Emerson Lane Fortuna (now Arnold Advertising) and Hill, Holiday, Connors, Cosmopulos. During his career to date, Shannon has produced award-winning work in print, radio, new media, and television for many clients in a variety of categories. His clients have included:
