GAATW is committed to effecting change at the local level through its Members and allies, and internationally through the work of the International Secretariat and GAATW's special consultative status to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations... The Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women (GAATW) is an Alliance of more than 80 non-governmental organisations from Africa, Asia, Europe, LAC and North America. The GAATW International Secretariat is based in Bangkok, Thailand and co-ordinates the activities of the Alliance, collects and disseminates information, and advocates on behalf of the Alliance at regional and international levels... This is the website of GAATW - the Global Alliance Against Traffic in Women - a network of over 80 organisations worldwide, working to ensure that the human rights of all migrating women are respected and protected by authorities and agencies.
