Alison Verdone

Alison Verdone, CNP earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Southern Connecticut State University in 2014. She has worked as an RN in a variety of settings since then including adult medical and surgical care but found her true passion in gastroenterology. She completed her Masters degree at Salem State University and is an AANP board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner.

Prithvi Sreenivasan

Prithvi Sreenivasan, M.D. earned her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India, and a master's degree in Public Health from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She continued her training in internal medicine through Yale University at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, where she also served as Chief Resident. She then completed clinical fellowships in Transplant Hepatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, as well as in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Norwalk Hospital, also through Yale University. Subsequently Dr. Sreenivasan practiced gastroenterology in New Haven, Connecticut, where she was also an attending gastroenterologist at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She has taught internal medicine residents and gastroenterology fellows at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Sreenivasan is well regarded for her personalized care of her patients, and understands the importance of the doctor patient relationship. Languages: English and Hindi Dr. Sreenivasan treats all general digestive and liver disorders and is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. She is an active member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease.

Sara LaFreniere

Sara LaFreniere, PA-C, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biology at the University of New England in Maine. Prior to beginning PA school, she worked as an emergency medical technician in both emergency and private transportation settings. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University and is now a NCCPA certified Physician Assistant. Sara found her passion in Gastroenterology and always strives to provide compassionate, humanistic care to all her patients.

Teresa Fatemi

Teresa Fatemi, PA-C is a Massachusetts native who received her undergraduate degree from Westfield State University in Movement Science. Prior to PA school, she worked as an Emergency Room Technician and Nursing Assistant in labor and delivery. She achieved her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Portland Maine, and is currently NCCPA board certified. She has a comprehensive education in general medicine and, clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She develops excellent rapport with her patients by implementing trust and compassion, while still maintaining a professional demeanor.
