Our focus is to develop friendships, camaraderie, share knowledge, adventures, create lasting memories while sharing a common interest in the cruising lifestyle fondness for Grand Banks veasels... Our 180 members hail from all corners of the Great Lakes and beyond. Some of our members have moved to coastal areas but maintain their GLGBA memberships to stay in touch with fresh water cruising. Most of our members own Grand Banks, but we have a few members with other lovely cruising yachts. Some of our members are temporarily "between boats"... The club organizes a couple events each year. A cruising rendezvous is usually held in late July or early August that rotates between ports Canada & the US on the Great Lakes. Our annual meeting with the election of officers and directors takes place at the rendezvous. In the winter and early spring, mini meet and greats are organized in Florida and Illinois or Wisconsin where everyone is invited to attend. We are pleased for the continuous..
