GOODHUE SUMNER - Key Persons

Dave Burchell

Dave Burchell got his start with computers by programming the Radio Shack TRS-80 in BASIC and the Commodore 64 in 6510 assembly. Currently, Dave's favorite programming languages are Perl and XSLT. A fervent proponent of XML, Dave enjoys solving content management problems with markup and open source software. His other interests include American history and Hellenistic philosophy. Dave lives with his wife, Renee, and children, Max, Gus, and Samantha Grace in Lincoln, Nebraska. Communication is the iron pole around which the tetherball game of Chris's work life is played. After learning German in Leipzig and marching with a champion drum and bugle corps between semesters at the University of Oklahoma, he worked as a newspaper reporter in Hastings, Nebraska. He moved to New York's Hudson Valley where he played in electro-acoustic improvisatory ensembles, learned digital audio recording, and worked as an assistant to a master of retail hardware store design. In 2006 and 2007, he spent an extended honeymoon with his wife, Rachael, teaching English conversation in rural Thailand. Upon returning to Nebraska, Chris took a job streamlining archiving procedures at the state's department of corrections and began ramping up his work in video production.
