Jeff Rennells

Jeff Rennells is Senior Project Manager and has been with Green Star Environmental since the company was founded in 2000. Responsibilities include all technical and regulatory aspects of environmental projects, as well as project planning, budget management, and project execution. Project execution includes planning and design, management of subcontractors, management of field personnel, and agency negotiation and communication. Jeff is a Senior Project Manager and Professional Geologist with 19 years experience in the environmental consulting field. Jeff manages and provides expertise in remediation, closure services, risk assessment, litigation support, waste management, and training services. Jeff's project experiences include all technical and regulatory aspects of environmental projects, as well as project planning, budget management, and project execution.

Leonard C. Albright

Job Titles:
  • Environmental Scientist
Leonard is an Environmental Scientist and Biologist with 23 years of experience in the environmental industry. Leonard has been with Green Star since the year 2000, and has managed the Lewisville office since that time. Leonard's primary focus as an environmental consultant is addressing soil and groundwater impacts through a combination of risk-based and remedial strategies. Additionally, Leonard works actively in the areas of due diligence and environmental compliance and is responsible for all technical and regulatory aspects of environmental projects in multiple states, as well as project planning, management, and project execution. Leonard's experience extends across the country, having worked on projects in 25 states, most recently in Texas, Florida, California, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington, DC.

R. Steven George PG

Steve is a geologist by training with seven years of oil and gas exploration experience prior to entering the environmental consulting practice in 1989. He has focused on providing rapid identification of environmental issues with realistic quantification of risk to facilitate investigations and closures of sites in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Steve's current practice includes development of risk management, remedial strategies, closure services, and litigation support on environmental projects for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients in the United States and Canada. Steve has resolved environmental issues at numerous sites in Texas through the application of various Texas Commission on Environmental Quality programs including the Voluntary Cleanup Program, Innocent Owner/Operator Program, Dry Cleaning Remediation Program, Underground Storage Tanks, Corrective Action, State Superfund, and Spill Response. Recently, Steve has helped develop Municipal Setting Designations programs in several North Texas cities and has become an expert at their performance.

Shelley Malone

Responsible for the preparation and execution of environmental field work, environmental media sampling (soil, groundwater, sediment, etc.), and drilling, sampling and installation of soil borings and monitoring wells. Operate and maintain remediation and monitoring equipment. Develop site safety plans and coordinate non-hazardous waste disposal. Perform historical research pertaining to sites and surrounding areas. Record logs of subsurface soils and develop geological cross sections. Create detailed figures and tables according to laboratory analytical results. Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and field activity reports. Preparation of technical reports to document field work and assessment results in strict time frames and ensuring client satisfaction. Shelley Malone prepares and executes environmental field work, environmental media sampling (soil, groundwater, etc.), and the drilling and installation of soil borings and monitoring wells. Collect groundwater and soil samples according to various Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Standard Operating Procedures. Record logs of subsurface soils, monitoring well installations, and groundwater sampling parameters. Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessment investigations that include performing investigative site visits, as well as historical research pertaining to the site and surrounding areas. Develop specific Site Health and Safety Plans (SHSP) prior to field work and coordinate non-hazardous waste disposal.

Terrance Harriman

Terrance is a geologist who graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, in 2007. Terrance has extensive experience performing different types of environmental field work across the country, such as groundwater monitoring, in situ remediation, excavations, subsurface investigations, and soil vapor monitoring.
