Abel Leon

Since joining our team in 2018, Abel has been estimating new construction and tenant improvement projects. He consistently coordinates with Sub-trades to encompass in GWT contracts, all while staying involved with Pre-con planning, material procurement, setting project budgets and ensuring project completion by hitting project milestones and meeting deadlines. Not only does Abel have over a decade of industry experience, he holds a Bachelors Degree in Business from Cal State East Bay, is an AWCI Certified Project Manager, has undergone certified training in collaborative leadership/ building job-site leaders with UBCJA and is OSHA-10 certified. In his own words, "Being in construction for over 12 years, I've had the opportunity to be trained and mentored by several Senior Estimator and Project Managers throughout our industry. From this experience, I have been able to acquire unparalleled knowledge and establish irreplaceable relationships. Being able to bring this proficiency to my family's company is one of my greatest accomplishments and I take great pride in being able to provide exceptional service through my work with Green Wall Tech."

Adrian Cisneros

Adrian joined GWT in late 2017 as a field laborer and later transitioned into the office. He initially started as a Project Estimator, moving his way up to a Project Manager to oversee and manage lath/plaster, EIFS, and framing/drywall projects; including developing budgets, procuring materials, tracking costs, and billing. He is in constant communication with the field team to instill open communication and trust. Adrian is a LEED Green Associate, OSHA 30 and AWCI PM certified, with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from CSU-East Bay.

Bosco Leon

Job Titles:

Since 2009, Bosco oversees and manages Superintendents as well as framing, drywall, taping, and plastering employees. Bosco has 40+ years of experience in the industry. He has expertise in the intricacies of all the trades as they apply to both custom homes and commercial properties. Bosco is one of the original founders of Greenwall Tech, and he has helped to sustainably grow the company into what it is today.

Christopher Leon - President

Chris became President of GWT in 2020. He coordinates with the executive team in all decisions relating to the direction of the company. Chris has a hand in almost every aspect of the business, as he oversees all aspects of project management and estimating team efforts (training, project review, workload/project assignment, expectation setting, etc.); reviews potential work opportunities and determines feasibility based on scope, timing, workload; and estimates metal stud framing, drywall, plaster, and EIFS projects. With an expertise in metal stud framing, drywall, plaster, and EIFS assemblies, Chris brings a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from SJSU. He successfully passed the FE exam, and is a holder of General (B), Drywall (C-9), and Plaster (C-35) construction licenses in the state of California. OSHA 10 certified. In his own words: "One of the biggest "wins" I have recognized during my time here has been the growth of our team; both individually and as a group. GWT has fostered an environment where those who have a desire to succeed and expand in their careers can do so. Further, we have developed a people-first culture, by understanding work-life balances and treating our team members with trust and respect. As a result, we have a team full of hard-working, self-motivated individuals that enjoy what they do. That is something I take pride in." Christopher has worked in the industry for over 10 years but has been around it through his father most of his life. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and has a demonstrated aptitude for attention to detail. He continues his father's legacy of integrity and fairness in business dealings and managing the company and its interests.

Daniel Leon

Daniel oversees all Framing/Drywall projects on both residential and commercial, and is big on Client Relationship building. Daniel helps GWT to determine constructibility of a project in the design phase, as well as develop schedules with the General Contractor. Daniel is OSHA 30 Certified, with over 15 years in the industry, alongside a background in Pharmaceutical/Tech TI's. He is known for accelerated scheduling methods while working closely with other trades, and always building with safety in mind.

Gary Taylor - VP

  • Founder, Vice President, Head Estimator
Since 2010, Gary has been part of the Owners Team, and he oversees all Estimators/Project Managers, estimating various types of Construction Projects. His expertise in Customer development, Specialize in framing/drywall assemblies, with extensive experience in Plaster Systems. Gary started in the field as a metal stud framer / drywall hanger in 1973. In 1978 he was brought into the office as an estimator and has been estimating since '78. Gary believes that customer service, quality workmanship and reliability is Green Wall Tech's key to success.

James Monzello - CFO

James started with GWT in 2011 and serves as the CFO, monitoring and maintaining the financial data and health of the company. Additionally, he oversees and manages the Safety, HR, and IT Programs, along with maintaining legal compliance with Federal, State, and related entities. During his time, James has built a strong Pool of Banks, Brokers, Consultants, and In-House Staff to maintain and further develop the health and growth of the company in all aspects of its operations.

Jesus Suarez

Job Titles:
  • Taping Superintendent
Jesus joined GWT in 2019. As a Taping Superintendent, Jesus performs quality control and repairs any issues or defects to drywall taping finishes. He also coordinates daily activities of all taping crews, ensures site health and safety compliance in accordance with OSHA regulations. You'll find Jesus working with directly with Project Managers and taping crews to maintain or beat the allotted budget. He is OSHA 10 certified, and takes a proactive approach on projects to foresee any issues that can be prevented, and turn into a cost saving opportunity.

Juan B. Leon

Job Titles:
  • Founder, Secretary, General Superintendent
Juan brings over 35 years of construction industry experience to Green Wall Tech. He mastered his trade working primarily within the metal stud framing & drywall areas on commercial structures throughout the Bay Area. Soon after, Juan moved into a General Superintendent role managing 60-100 employees in the metal stud framing, fine plaster finish (interior and exterior) parts of the business where he continued to become known for his results driven approach to getting the job done quickly and professionally. His current role at Green Wall Tech is a culmination of this experience as well as the extensive business relationships he has built over the years.

Phillip Leon - CEO

Phillip worked in construction for more than 40 years and operated his own General Contracting Company in PL Construction Services, Inc. for over 30 years. He was known for providing quality work in a timely fashion, as well as being trustworthy and fair. He kept his business in the black even through the regular twists, turns and dips of the unwieldy U.S. economy. In January of 2020 he passed away and was succeeded by his son Christopher Leon.

Porfirio Rodriguez

Job Titles:
  • Shop Manager & Purchaser
Porfirio joined GWT in 2019, working with Management to execute long term best practices for managing the shop. He coordinates material orders for delivery with purchasing agents and Project managers. Porfirio is Osha 10 certified, with Purchasing and dispatch expertise, and a Warehouse management specialist. In just a few years, he restructured and implemented advanced quality control procedures to ensure the shop functions properly, such as space saving techniques and inventory control; trained warehouse staff in handling material and order pickups; and created systems that are simple and duplicatable to pass on leadership for future shop managers.

Ryan Swanick

Ryan joined in 2018 and is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects. He prepares budgets based on scope of work and maintains project schedules by closely monitoring progress. Ryan brings: Residential Drywall expertise; AWCI PM; OSHA-10; is CPR Certified and earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from California State University, East Bay. He lists one of his highlights as, "Completing my first multi-unit drywall project ahead of schedule and on budget!"

Sergio Flores

Sergio joined GWT in 2017, and he oversees the day-to-day progress/operations of all projects under his assignment. He describes his tasks as: "Conduct weekly meetings with superintendents and foreman to review budgets, evaluate progress, and create short and long term project specific schedules/goals. Communicate and work with general contractors, property managers, architects, consultants, owners, and/or other trades to ensure the timely and successful completion of the project. Estimate changes to existing projects. Estimate potential projects in a clear and accurate manner." Sergio brings expertise in metal stud framing, drywall, plaster, and EIFS assemblies. He has successful completion of AWCI's Project Management Course, AWCI's Steel Doing It Right Course, and AWCI's EIFS Doing IT Right Course. OSHA 10 and CPR certified. In his own words: "Throughout my time at GWT I have been able to contribute to the completion of many successful project. These projects have ranged in value from a couple hundred dollars to a couple million dollars. It is very satisfactory to see all these projects come to a successful completion, but the best part is the process it took to get there and the relationships you are able to build along the way. My biggest "win" at GWT is those relationships and the lessons learned during the construction process."

Sergio Sanchez

Since 2012, Sergio has Supervised all ongoing lath, plaster, and EIFS projects. He also coordinates manpower and resources to ensure all jobs are staffed appropriately. Ensuring the timely and successful completion of all projects, Sergio interacts with clients to ensure customer satisfaction. With over 27 years of experience in the industry, Sergio is OSHA 10, CPR and First-Aid Certified. Sergio is very proud of, "all the experience and knowledge I have been able to accumulate throughout the years."

Steven Reid

Steve joined GWT in 2019. Steve manages projects establishing measurable project milestones that are clear, accountable, and seek to deliver a high-quality product to the client on-time and on-budget. Other tasks of the job include risk management, monthly progress billing, safety, labor performance reporting, quantity survey and takeoff of building materials, review and price changes to contract scopes of work, and the proper execution of contract documents overall. Steve is an AWCI certified project manager and holds a degree in Economics from San Jose State University. Additionally, Steve has completed the Collaborative Leadership: Building Job-site Leaders training series with the UBCJA and holds an OSHA-10 certification. His project specialties include but are not limited to: multi-family, senior housing, and commercial. In conjunction with his project management duties, Steve estimates and prepares bids for small and medium-sized projects ranging from new construction to tenant improvement. When asked what his proudest moment has been with GWT, he believes it has been the fostering of a strong, new, working relationship with a prominent general contractor who is new to Northern California. This has set the stage to be a preferred framing and drywall subcontractor that is confidently and consistently relied on to meet the needs of their new projects, and, in-turn, expanding GWT's book of business.
