GUERIN GLASS - Key Persons
Trained as an architect in Peru, Alejandro brings years of work experience to GGA from both the commercial and residential sectors. Alejandro is currently focused on the Documentation and Construction Administration phases for a series of single-family residential homes in Los Cabos.
Prior to joining GGA, Alejandro worked at Aggregate Architecture, where he was deeply involved in the construction administration of multi-family buildings and single family resi-dences. Alejandro also worked for Antunovich Associates as part of the 1900 Half Street, a 500,000 sq ft multi-family building along Washington DC's waterfront. Also previously, he worked at FOX Architects during the Design Development of 1333 New Hampshire Avenue, an adaptive reuse project that sought to transform an existing structure into a state-of-the-art Class A office building. He received his Bachelor of Architecture in Lima, Peru and his Master of Science in Advance Architectural Design from Columbia University.

Amy is an experienced administrator and Office Manager with a variety of skills, qualifications, and interests. Studying at the George Washington University in 2006, she received her bachelor's degree in Archaeology, with minors in Art History and Fine Arts. She received her Master of Art in Material and Visual Cultures of Anthropology from University College London in 2007, and then chose to begin her career working for top NY art galleries and artists. Moving into the world of design and architecture in 2019 as the executive assistant and archivist for Meier Partners, she went on to join Guerin Glass Architects in 2022, where she is now involved with the daily operations of the Brooklyn studio and contributing to the firm's culture.
Since joining GGA in 2022, Angel has played a crucial role in assisting the continued expansion of Four Seasons Los Cabos. He closely works with the construction process, developing a strong focus on new materials, innovative construction systems, and technological applications to improve efficiency.
Angel completed his architectural studies at Granada University in the south of Spain, where he received his Master of Architecture in 2007. He moved to London in 2007 where he worked on a wide range of residential projects, including the refurbishment of the iconic Centre Point Tower in central London before relocating to New York City to join GGA. Angel's dedication reflects his passion for pushing the boundaries of the construction process.

Brandon joined Guerin Glass as a junior architect in 2014. His passion for design has allowed him to gain experience working at firms in Europe and the US. He also has 3 years of experience designing and manufacturing custom furniture which has given him a strong understanding of materials and tectonics.

Brendan Guerin is a founder of Guerin Glass Architects and brings to the practice extensive experience in a broad range of project types and scale. Since graduating, Brendan has gained experience in all aspects of the profession including: residential design/ build, furniture and product design, commercial/residential development, K-12 and higher education, research technology, health care and master planning. Through the diversity of his experience, Brendan has come to believe that the most successful projects are the result of a highly collaborative design process. To this end, he is committed to the production of architecture that is derived from a highly interactive discourse between architect, client, consultants and builders. Prior to forming Guerin Glass Architects, Brendan was a project manager for Rafael Vinoly Architects and most recently was the Senior Project Designer for the New York office of Perkins & Will.

Carolina joined Guerin Glass Architects in August of 2021 and is working primarily on residential projects in and around New York. Prior to GGA, she worked as an architectural designer and project manager for a construction firm after receiving her bachelor's degree from Syracuse University's School of Architecture in 2020. Outside of work, she enjoys lifting weights at the gym, and makes laser-cut objects for cultural and collegiate organizations.
Charlotte joined Guerin Glass Architects in February 2021 and is currently working on several residential projects from our Hawai‘i office. Prior to joining GGA, Charlotte worked at a development company, as well as a local architecture practice, contributing to large-scale projects such as Atlantis Ko Olina and the Kapolei West residential community.
Outside the office, Charlotte spends her time bouldering, taking bird and architectural photography and volunteering for conservation efforts. She received her Bachelor of Environmental Design at the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa.
Elina joined Guerin Glass Architects in 2021 and holds a degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute. As a designer, her interest is rooted in sustainability and is experienced with providing design and technical services for a variety of projects including single-family residences, hospitality, aviation, and infrastructure.
Elise received a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 2019 after earning her undergraduate degree from Ball State University, Indiana. Experienced with workplace and residential design, she is skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and Lumion programs.
Esther joined Guerin Glass in 2006 and since then has worked on a wide range of projects, from large hotel developments in Honolulu to townhouse renovations in Manhattan. As a Senior Project Manager, Esther is currently leading the design development and documentation for Lift One Lodge, a mixed-use,hospitality project that spans over 200,000 sq ft in Aspen, CO. She is also guiding the concept design for a new hotel and residential community along Mexico's East Cape.
Esther's experience also includes working on historic hospitality renovations and luxury single family residences at Sawyer | Berson Architecture & Landscape Architecture. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Faisal joined Guerin Glass Architects in September 2021. He received his Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Faisal is working on a renovation project on the Big Island, along with residences in Costa Rica and Orem, Utah.
Jasper joined Guerin Glass Architects in 2021 after receiving his bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Pratt Institute in 2015. An experienced designer, he has contributed to firms in New York and Vancouver, BC., the latter of which involved designing prefabricated timber structures suitable for challenging environments. A sensitivity to the natural environment intrinsic to Guerin Glass Architects' design process is an ethos he shares wholeheartedly.

Originally from Texas, Jorge has been a member of Guerin Glass Architects since 2013. An interest in digital design and fabrication provides a basis for Jorge's workflow and design aesthetic. In his free time, Jorge enjoys exploring The City, building models, and scuba diving.
Malcolm began his career in the UK gaining experience in commercial, mixed-use and residential projects, including large scale developments in London. During this period he worked for several years with SOM in design, technical and project management roles. Since moving to the US Malcolm has acted in senior architectural positions in project and design management, with a specialization in hospitality and mixed-use including resort, hotel and casino projects in the US and overseas.
Micael is a licensed architect who has practiced in Shanghai, New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas. He joined Guerin Glass Architects in New York as a Project Architect starting in 2022, with previous employers including Greg Lynn FORM, INABA, MADA s.p.a.m, Magdalena Keck Inc., and KBA.
Micael has led projects for new construction multi-family mixed-use projects up to 80,000 square feet in New York City, interior office buildouts up to 90,000 square feet across the US, and small-scale interior renovations around the world. He has served as a guest critic for studio reviews at Columbia University, the Pratt Institute, and the University of Southern California. Micael holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University. The Cornell Architecture Department awarded him a thesis grant for his research and exploration of Hong Kong. As an undergraduate, he studied abroad in Mexico, France, and Italy. He also holds a Bachelor of Art in Sculpture and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Dallas.
Michael Hreczny Project Architect B.Arch NJIT 2011 Born, raised and schooled in New Jersey, Michael has been working at GGA since 2008.
Michael joined GGA in 2011, and is dedicated to continually evolving as a designer and architect. On his own time, Michael enjoys competing in national and international regattas with his crew team.

Mike House is an architect, builder and native New Yorker with a deep interest in the urban built environment. He began his career as a laborer and carpenter, renovating abandoned buildings on the Lower East Side as part of the area's homestead movement.

Moe Elsayed graduated with honors from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Architecture. While still attending university, Moe joined Guerin Glass Architects in 2009.
During his tenure, his duties included overseeing as well as collaborating with colleagues on a number of commercial, residential developments, and hospitality projects throughout New York City and Hawaii. In addition to his architectural input, Moe brings an in depth knowledge of digital design/art, computer science, and photography. Allowing firms to implement cutting edge technologies that improve efficiencies, promote integration to current standard office workflows, and provide creative input that propels designs forward.
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Sasha graduated with highest honors from Pratt Institute, and has been with Guerin Glass since 2014.

Founding Principal Scott Glass has been involved in the design and building professions on multiple levels from an early age. Prior to forming Guerin Glass Architects, he had been working at Rafael Vinoly Architects as the project lead on the expansion of the Cleveland Museum of Art. Scott was a founding partner at BDDW, Inc., a design, manufacturing and retail firm focused on highly crafted installations and furniture. Previously, he worked at Rogers Marvel Architects - where he was project architect for a number of intricately designed residential and institutional projects.

Starting his career as a design architect in Washington DC with The Lessard Group, Shawn managed the architectural side of construction on commercial, retail and residential works. With a move to New York City in 2000, Shawn worked at Perkins + Will Architects, where he advanced to become one of the firm's technical leads. After working in their K-12 and Higher education studios for nearly 7 years, Shawn joined Guerin Glass Architects in 2007 as technical director and senior project manager.
Shawn, with Scott Glass and Brendan Guerin, founded Composite Fabrication + Construction in 2010. Shawn is responsible for the management of CF+C and the technical direction of GGA - unifying design and construction and allowing both companies to experiment with construction techniques, implement sustainable practices and research methodologies and integrate knowledge into the work of both companies.
Yuliya Bentcheva Studio Director AIA M.Arch MIT 2011 Yuliya Bentcheva After graduation, she relocated to Hawaii to explore the real life applications of her thesis work on bamboo construction. Loving the island life and interested in gaining more technical experience in the field, she joined G2 in 2013 and is currently assisting with CA of the Ritz Carlton in Waikiki.
Zachary joined Guerin Glass in 2014 and since then has worked on a wide range of projects, from large hotel developments in Mexico, to high rise facade renovations in Manhattan, to Restaurant fitouts in Honolulu. As a Project Manager, Zachary previously lead the design, documentation, and CA of the Four Seasons Los Cabos project. Currently, he is leading the design, development, and documentation for multiple high-end homes along with guiding the initial concept design for a new golf club and Four Seasons expansion along Mexico's East Cape.
Prior to working at Guerin Glass Architects, he worked at Archidiom Design in Australia where he was a design architect for a number of award winning, multi-residential and commercial projects throughout Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
He received his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Architectural Studies from the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. He is a licensed architect in the State of New York.
