Alan Buxkemper and his wife, Tracy, have lived in Canyon Lake for 30 years. They have two children who graduated from Canyon Lake High School and Texas State University. Mr. Buxkemper has served on the GVTC Board of Directors since 2005 and was elected by the Board as the Secretary/Treasurer in 2015. He is a member of the Board's Executive Committee and serves on both the Finance and Governance Committees. He is a member of the Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce and is involved with other statewide civic organizations. Alan is a graduate of Texas State University with a degree in Business Management. He is the Regional Manager for Lowe's Pay and Save, a Littlefield Texas based corporation and oversees the retail operations of the supermarket chain. He started in the retail grocery business in 1974 with Super S Foods which was acquired by Lowe's in 2011. Over the years, he has overseen and managed all aspects of the retail operation. He developed sales and cost control procedures, and developed employee retention programs. He served as Vice President of Human Resources and served as the corporate representative for legal matters. He has also been heavily involved in site development, construction, and remodel projects as Lowe's continues to expand. His strong business background and desire to serve the community will help him continue to be a valuable asset to the GVTC Board of Directors.

Charles (Chuck) J. Knibbe

Chuck Knibbe has served on the GVTC Board since 1992 and as its Chairman since 1996. As Chairman of the Board, he served as an ex officio member of all committees, and led the Executive Committee. He currently serves on Safety and Long-Range Planning committees. In June of 2023, he chose not to run for Chairman of the board but will remain on the board. He led GVTC through the transition to a fiber broadband centric communications company enabling the company to grow from $40M to $125M in annualized revenue. This success has enabled GVTC to be the only telephone cooperative in the nation to distribute a monthly dividend, in addition to the annual capital credits. In 1974, Mr. Knibbe started his 28-year career in investment banking, and owning and managing the largest privately-owned investment house in South Texas, Knibbe Financial Group, Inc. from 1983-1990. Today he is the general partner of Spring Branch Creek Ventures, L.P., operator of an events center on the Knibbe Ranch hosting corporate group events. Mr. Knibbe has served as President of Comal County Industrial Development Authority, President of Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Association, President of S.T.A.G.E. Endowment Fund, and member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Council. He was Commissioner of Spring Branch Fire District #1 and President of Spring Branch Volunteer Fire Department. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious 2019 Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Knibbe graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and received his Masters from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. He and his wife Sharon, their daughter Shannon, their son Chad and his wife, Callie and their 4 grandchildren are lifelong residents of Spring Branch.

Clint Swindall - Chairman

Clint Swindall currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of GVTC Communications. As Chairman, he serves as an ex officio member of all committees and leads the Executive Committee. He is the past Chairman of the Governance Committee and Secretary of GVTC's wholly-owned subsidiary, Guadalupe Valley Enterprises. In addition to serving on the board of GVTC since 2008, Mr. Swindall is a Director Emeritus of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. He and his wife are founders of the First Chance Foundation, a private 501(c)3 focused on the nurturing and development of abandoned, abused, and neglected children. He serves on the Tournament Leadership Council of the Valero Texas Open and is a past board member of the Texas State University Alumni Association, Junior Achievement of South Texas, and Provisions (the food pantry based in Bulverde). Clint Swindall and his wife, Heather, reside in Bulverde, Texas. He is president & CEO of Verbalocity, Inc., a personal development company focusing on leadership enhancement. After a corporate career in telecommunications, Mr. Swindall began working with corporations and associations in leadership development. For the past two decades, he has traveled the world as a professional speaker, trainer, and author of three books on leadership.

George Oneal

George Oneal, Vice President Network Services for GVTC, is responsible for planning, engineering and operations of all GVTC customer-facing networks. He also manages the company's service center, installation and repair teams, inventory, and facilities and fleet. Mr. Oneal serves as the executive sponsor of the GVTC Safety Committee. Mr. Oneal is the key architect of GVTC's expansive Fiber-to-the-Home network and transformation to an all IP, broadband-centric network designed to position GVTC as the premium service provider for the explosive growth in internet usage. In addition, Mr. Oneal developed the GVTC Fiber Overbuild program, which provides members in established neighborhoods with state-of-the-art fiber optics connected directly to their home or business. The system he developed offers objective metrics to equitably prioritize projects within the Fiber Overbuild program. Mr. Oneal has led the evolution of GVTC's telephone and cable TV networks to provide industry-leading features and reliability. Before joining GVTC in 2006, Mr. Oneal spent seven years at Alltel, where he served in several network management positions. From 1995 to 1999, he was employed by SBC Communications Inc. and took part in the company's renowned Leadership Development Program. Mr. Oneal served two terms as a board member and treasurer of the internationally recognized Fiber-to-the Home Council Americas. As a graduate from the United States Military Academy at West Point, Mr. Oneal holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Army.

George Steinke

George Steinke has served on the GVTC Board since 2008. He currently serves as Vice Chairman and is a member of the Long-Range Planning, Governance, and Executive committees. His leadership and dedication have been integral in increasing member value as evidenced by the Membership Dividend Program, the return of over $90 million in Capital Credits since 2008, and the continued expansion of our world-class fiber optic network. As a 35-year GVTC co-op member, he knows that rapidly changing technology and increasing competition from large companies are formidable challenges GVTC faces. His commitment to growing customer value, strategic business acumen, and extensive board experience will ensure that GVTC meets these challenges and continues to thrive. His community service includes: Commissioner/VP of Canyon Lake Fire/EMS, Director of Comal County Sheriff's Academy, Fischer Community Center, Fischer Agricultural Society, Co-Chair of the Tye Preston Memorial Library (TPML) capital campaign, TPML Friends, Comal Dark Skies and Comal Conservation Association. George Steinke and wife, Sandra, reside in Fischer, Texas. He is Founder of Winrock Ventures, a strategic consulting company, whose clients include Halliburton, Microsoft, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SAP and Schlumberger. He was awarded a NDEA fellowship and graduated cum laude from Baylor University with a Physics Master's degree and a BA in Mathematics. Previously, he was SVP of Marketing and VP of Global Business Development of Schlumberger, Founder and President of GlobalSoft-Schlumberger, and Executive VP of Intergraph. Additionally, Mr. Steinke has board experience at multiple technology companies, including STAR Park: Texas State University.

Jameson (Jamey) Arnold

Jameson Arnold has served on the GVTC Board of Directors since 2004 for District II. He is an active member of the Safety, Audit/Finance and Executive committees. He is the Chairman of GVTC's owned subsidiary, Guadalupe Valley Enterprise. His skills and experience as a professional contractor make him uniquely valuable in helping GVTC succeed in a competitive market. He recognizes the value of the GVTC employees and is proud of how they serve the cooperative and the community. Mr. Arnold is now a retired Commercial General Contractor. He co-owned Bartlett Cocke General Contractors for 36 years, serving on the Board of Directors as VP of Field Operations during his time there. Bartlett Cocke General Contractors specializes in building numerous health care, K thru 12 and higher education facilities throughout Texas. Mr. Arnold is especially proud of contributing to projects including Sea World of Texas, National Wildflower Research Center for Lady Bird Johnson, the Robert B. Green Hospital and the HEB Headquarters located in downtown San Antonio. He, his wife, Kimberly and their five daughters, four grandsons and one granddaughter are longtime residents of Texas. Now that Mr. Arnold is retired, he has more time to volunteer in his community and enjoy quality time with his family. He and Kimberly enjoy the outdoors-trimming trees, mowing the grass and maintaining their land. They are also members of Hillside Fellowship Church and fervently involved in their community.

Jeff Mnick - VP of Sales

Jeff Mnick is GVTC's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, the first company executive to serve in that capacity. Mr. Mnick is responsible for the operations of several divisions within the Sales and Marketing Department, including residential, business, and enterprise sales, marketing, customer service, public relations, corporate communications, and e-commerce. Mr. Mnick changed GVTC's passive sales approach to a progressive strategy, utilizing multiple sales channels to get to the customer first. Since joining the company in 2004, GVTC has significantly increased its market penetration, greatly expanded revenue-generating units, and more than doubled retail revenue. Mr. Mnick leads all marketing and advertising efforts to reinforce GVTC's brand and generate sales. In 2006, he supervised GVTC's comprehensive rebranding campaign, which modernized the company's image, and transformed its identity from a rural telephone cooperative to a high-tech, full-service communications provider. Mr. Mnick also established and currently leads the company's digital marketing and e-commerce strategies, expanding GVTC's growth online. Mr. Mnick is the executive sponsor for the company's Creating Fiercely Loyal Customers program, which was established in 2017 to further enhance GVTC's culture in supporting its best-in-class customer experience enterprise. Mr. Mnick also serves as executive sponsor for The GVTC Foundation, the company's non-profit philanthropic arm serving GVTC's 2,000 square mile service area and donating more than $5 million to its communities since its inception in 2007. In the community, he currently serves as a board member on the Boerne/Kendall County Economic Development Corporation and was a founding member in 2006. He was board chairman from 2010-2011. On a national level, Mr. Mnick served on the board of directors for the esteemed Fiber-to-the-Home Council Americas from 2005 to 2010. He was the organization's treasurer and a member of the Council's Finance-Audit Committee and Marketing Committee. His telecommunications career includes management positions with MCI Direct and Intermedia Communications before moving into executive management with Logix and Xspedius Communications. A native of North Carolina, Mr. Mnick holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Wake Forest University.

Josh Pettiette

Josh Pettiette, Vice President Product, Business Development & Strategic Planning for GVTC, is responsible for managing profitability for the company's broadband, cable TV, voice, and security home automation products, ensuring they provide the highest value in the marketplace. He also evaluates emerging technologies that best leverage the power of GVTC's Fiber-to-the-Home network. GVTC offers consumers a range of fast internet speeds up to 1 Gbps. In addition, Mr. Pettiette oversees the newly established wholesale services business, selling Ethernet access and transport throughout the state of Texas. He also manages the company's Fiber-to-the-Tower data backhaul business, capitalizing on the growing market demands of wireless data and IoT. Under business development, Mr. Pettiette evaluates growth opportunities for GVTC based on strategic priorities from market expansion to mergers and acquisitions. He leads GVTC's strategic planning process that involves creating and prioritizing strategic objectives and long-range planning, in conjunction with the company's executive team and board of directors. At SBC Communications, Mr. Pettiette managed various network operations, including special services provisioning and maintenance and outside plant operations. He is a graduate of SBC's renowned Network Leadership Program. In the community, Mr. Pettiette serves as chairman of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation. A graduate of Texas A&M University, Mr. Pettiette holds a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications engineering technology.

Kevin Owens

Kevin was elected to the GVTC Board in 2022 as a Director in District III. He also currently serves as a director on the board for his local POA. Kevin and his wife of 39 years, Dana, have resided in rural Boerne since 2014. Kevin and Dana now reside here permanently after Kevin retired from Chevron in 2020. They have two grown daughters. Kevin has 40 years of Oil and Gas Industry experience, 32 of which were in several international locations including Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Denmark, Indonesia, Nigeria, Russia (Siberia), Trinidad, and Venezuela. This diverse background in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Safety, Security, and Project Management has equipped him well to serve on the board. Kevin has led the startup and operations of numerous multi-billion-dollar projects for Chevron in numerous areas around the globe. Kevin believes this background in mega operations, diverse experience with numerous cultures, desire to serve the community, and prior experience on other international non-profit boards will continue to allow him to be an effective and active member of the GVTC board, representing you, the members. Kevin currently serves on the GVTC Safety Committee and Long Range Planning Committee. Kevin holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. He was recognized in 2020 by the Society of Petroleum Engineers with a Distinguished Achievement Award for his outstanding leadership across operations, personal and process safety, reliability, maintenance, production, and financial results. He is looking forward to putting his talents to work to serve the GVTC membership.

Lorie Winkler

Lorie Winkler is a recent retired USAA employee with over 35 years of service to USAA. Ms. Winkler has a background of leading professionals in enterprise strategic and operational functions including payroll, tax, financial reporting, accounting, and internal audit. For the majority of her USAA career, Ms. Winkler led teams in Corporate Controller and Internal Audit functions. Within both roles she took an active role in talent management initiatives, veteran hiring, and college internship programs. At USAA, Ms. Winkler worked from home on a full-time basis for a period of time which allowed her to understand firsthand how our members are fully dependent on the highest-quality and consistency of GVTC services to sustain their businesses and/or their quality of life within their home. Ms. Winkler holds a BA in Accounting and Computer Systems Management from Texas Lutheran University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Culture Facilitator, and Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). In our community, Ms. Winkler volunteers with the GVTC Foundation, Comal ISD Reading Programs, San Antonio Rodeo Contestant Hospitality team, and Untethered Ministries. In addition, she supports Provisions, Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center, Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce, and local water conservation programs. As a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ms. Winkler currently serves on the Church Council as secretary and volunteers as a worship assistant, hospitality team member, Day School reader, community mission representative, and vacation bible school volunteer. In addition, she previously served on the Property Team, Call Committee, Sunday School Program director, and board member for the St. Paul Christian Day School. She and her husband, Brent, have lived in Bulverde for over 30 years raising their two children, both Smithson Valley High School graduates. Through her experiences, Ms. Winkler understands the importance of dependable and effective communication services, assessing business risks, and innovating products and services to meet the needs of our local businesses and residents. Ms. Winkler looks forward to continuing to serve GVTC Communications and our community as an engaged board member, effective member of the Long-Range Planning Board Committee and committed chairperson of the Governance Board Committee.

Mark Gitter - CFO

Mark Gitter is GVTC's Chief Financial Officer responsible for accounting, taxation, auditing, internal controls, finance, treasury, investments, purchasing, project management, human resources, risk management and IT. Since joining GVTC in 2004, Mr. Gitter has modernized the company's human resources, IT, budgeting, treasury and financial management practices and brought state-of-the-art financial and capital budgeting, business intelligence, business process, financial modeling and forecasting, financial and operational analytics, incentive compensation and project management tools to the company. Mr. Gitter was also responsible for creating and implementing the strategic planning process and was instrumental in the development and launch of the Customer Experience and Member Dividend programs. Mr. Gitter serves as the executive sponsor and trustee for numerous committees including the Audit and Finance Committee, Retirement and Security Plan Committee, Health and Welfare Plan Committee, 401(k) Committee, Executive Committee, VEBA Plan Committee, and also serves as an advisor to the Long-Range Planning Committee. Mr. Gitter has extensive financial experience in the telecom industry, serving as CFO for nii Communications and Digital Express Communications. Both companies were competitive telecommunications providers. Additionally, Mr. Gitter held a senior-level management position with real estate company, Hines, and worked as an auditor for public accounting firm Arthur Andersen. He has both mergers-and-acquisitions and business-valuation experience. Mr. Gitter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. He also is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of CPAs.

Mike Scott

Mike Scott and his wife, Nita, have resided in Bulverde since 2001. They and their 15-year-old daughter, Adrian, are active members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde. Mike has served as a member of the Church Council, the Long Range Planning Committee and has led numerous Bible Study classes. Mike is also President of Construction Financial Services, Inc., which he founded in 1994, and Libra Enterprises, LLC,. Both companies provide interim construction financing for custom homes throughout the state of Texas. Mike has served on the Board of GVTC for the last nine years and is proud to be part of the growth of this outstanding cooperative. He is Chairman of the Long Range Planning Committee and is a member of the GVTC Governance Committee. He has also served on the GVTC 401k Committee, the R&S Committee, and the Safety Committee. Mike has also previously served on the Boards of several non-profit corporations.

Ms. Rhonda Zunker

Ms. Rhonda Zunker is currently employed as the President of the Bulverde/Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce and the BSB Chamber Foundation, Inc. Before joining the Chamber in September of 2013; she spent most of her career in the banking industry with her last position as the Market Manager of the Broadway Bank - Bulverde Banking Center. She was crucial to their success in the Bulverde area. She is a strong contributor to the Bulverde community and currently serves as a Director on the Bulverde/Spring Branch Economic Development Foundation. She is a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde, served as a Commissioner for ESD #1 for six years, and served on the United Way of Comal County Board. Ms. Zunker has served on the GVTC board since 2011 and serves on the Audit/Finance and the Long-Range Planning Committee. She believes her 36 years of banking experience, prior board experience, commitment to the community, and service to the various Comal County non-profit organizations will allow her to continue to serve GVTC and its members very well in the future. Ms. Zunker has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from WGU. She has lived on the family ranch in the Bulverde area since 2001 and has family ties in the community since the early 1900s. She has one son, Lance, who graduated from Smithson Valley High School.

Richard Elkins

Richard Elkins has served on the GVTC Board of Directors representing District III since 2011 and currently serves on the Safety Committee and as Chairman of the Audit/Finance Committee. His board and business experience in various industries including telecommunications and security make him an asset to the GVTC Board. Mr. Elkins previously served as Kendall County Commissioner of Pct. 2., Board of Directors for both Boerne ISD and Greater Area Boerne Chamber of Commerce and numerous for-profit and nonprofit businesses for many years. Mr. Elkins brings more than 30 years of business, engineering and financial experience and 11 years of experience as a Director to the GVTC Board. Mr. Elkins earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from IBM/University of Alabama, a Chief Information Officer Certification for Executives from Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Carnegie Mellon University, and Leadership Development Program Certification from the Center for Creative Leadership. He and his wife, Pat, reside in Bergheim. They have four children and are members of St. Joseph-Honey Creek Church in Spring Branch.

Rita P. Wenthold

Rita P. Wenthold, CPA, and Russell, her husband of 39 years, have been loyal GVTC Members since building their home in Fair Oaks Ranch, Kendall County, in 2006. Elected as a Director for District III of the GVTC Board in 2018, Rita has since enthusiastically served on the Audit/Finance Committee. She previously served on the GVTC Long Range planning committee for five years before moving onto the Safety, R&S and 401(k) committee, where she hopes to contribute. Rita graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTSA with a BBA in Accounting in May 1990, passing her Texas CPA exam the same month. Mid-career at H-E-B headquarters in 1995 while an Assistant Controller, Rita earned an Executive MBA from the University of Texas-Austin and promoted to category manager-brand developer. Recruited to Clarke American (now Vericast, previously Harland Clarke Holdings) to develop strategic supplier relationship management; she trained and supervised win-win negotiations, contracting, SOX purchasing controls and supplier management. Rita helped write the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award winning submission, assessing, and training employees nationally for strategic alignment as a Procurement Executive Director in HCHC. She attained professional certifications from ISM national, the CPM (lifetime), and CPSM® while employed by Harland Clark Holdings, retiring after fifteen years as an Executive Director. The sole proprietor of a Texas firm specializing in tax, she also consults in developing brands, building processes to achieve excellent customer service, transitioning an organization to higher strategic goals, and gaining cooperation among multiple facets of executive management. She's treasurer of DME-HOA and served decades on other professional boards: The Institute for Supply Management (ISM); San Antonio Supply Chain Council; and founding President of San Antonio Global Business Travel Association.

Ritchie T. Sorrells, named GVTC's President and CEO in 2003, led a change in business strategy and corporate culture to evolve the company from a monopolistic telephone cooperative to a highly competitive, full-service communications provider. The cornerstone for this strategic shift was a multimillion-dollar investment to replace much of its copper network with cutting-edge Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology.

Robert (Bob) Baron

Robert (Bob) Baron has served on the GVTC Board as Director representing District I for 17 years. He is chairman of the Safety Committee, and also serves on the Finance Committee. Mr. Baron's technical background and professional experience make him a valuable contributor to the success of GVTC. Mr. Baron is now a retired engineering professional. His experience includes seven years at Texas Instruments Inc. designing integrated circuits and 25 years at Lockheed Martin, working as a Contributing Engineer, Project Lead, and Engineering Manager supporting NASA at the Johnson Space Center. Mr. Baron's projects involved various communications technologies, including voice and telemetry processing, digital signal processing, local area networks, control systems, and fiber optics. He received the Space Flight Awareness Award from NASA for contributions to the Space Shuttle program. He serves on the Mystic Shores POA Maintenance and Amenities Committee and is a Comal Master Gardener. Mr. Baron and his wife, Patricia, reside in Spring Branch, Texas. They have one son and one granddaughter. They are members of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Canyon Lake. Mr. Baron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Robert Hunt

Robert Hunt is GVTC's Vice President Regulatory Affairs and Business Operations, overseeing the company's public policy strategy, carrier interconnection, business operations and billing areas. Mr. Hunt serves as the executive sponsor and staff advisor of the GVTC Governance Committee. In addition to his executive duties with GVTC, Mr. Hunt holds board positions with a number of prominent telecommunication organizations. Mr. Hunt serves as a board member of the USTelecom Association and served as chairman in 2016 and 2017 while focusing on universal service funding for broadband in rural areas. He also served as board member of the Texas Department of Agriculture's Texas Broadband Taskforce, formed to focus on broadband deployment and adoption in Texas. Mr. Hunt also served as a board member and past Chairman of the Board for the Texas Telephone Association (TTA). In 2011, the TTA recognized Mr. Hunt with the Neville Haynes Award - the highest honor given by the renowned association. The Haynes Award recognizes exceptional service by an individual to the TTA and the Texas telephone industry. In addition, Mr. Hunt is a founding board member of the Texas Lone Star Network, a partnership of 38 Texas communications companies that provides wholesale telecommunications services throughout the United States. Through his service to those organizations, Mr. Hunt advocates for policy changes that benefit GVTC and its customer members. Prior to joining GVTC in 1993, Mr. Hunt provided engineering and consulting services to the telecom industry. In the community, Mr. Hunt serves on the Mckenna Foundation Board and is Treasurer of Oakwood Baptist Church. A native of the Texas Hill Country, Mr. Hunt graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.

Scott Kramer

Scott Kramer, elected in 2019 to the GVTC Board, serves as Director of District III and on the Audit/Finance Committee and the Governance Committee. His focus remains on GVTC meeting the needs of the membership: long term viability of the cooperative, member value, member dividend program, and capital credit distributions. His career in semiconductor manufacturing technology at IBM, Lam Research, SEMATECH, and Mattson Technologies has equipped him well to serve on the Board. In his boardroom experience across five companies, Mr. Kramer has authored corporate bylaws for a startup company and has been active in the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). He has served on private company boards and a publicly listed company on the NASDAQ. He has chaired or served on board committees including Finance, Long Range Planning, Nominating & Governance, Strategy, Audit, Safety, and Compensation. He has served as Chairman of the Republican Party of Kendall County, dealing with complex public policy challenges such as population growth, transportation, taxation, utility infrastructure, and water supply. He is a regular columnist in the Boerne Star newspaper, and has served on the Boerne ISD Long Range Steering Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Missouri and an MBA from the University of Utah. Mr. Kramer is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where his squadron developed and tested the first Tomahawk cruise missiles in the late 1970s. Mr. Kramer now resides in rural Kendall County, along the Guadalupe River, with three generations of his family. All households in his family are GVTC members.

Susan Bogle has been a dedicated and effective Director on the GVTC Board since 2013 and serves as an active member on the Governance, Safety and Executive Committees, and previously on the Long Range Planning, Retirement & Security and 401(k) Committees. She also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board for GVTC's wholly owned subsidiary, Guadalupe Valley Enterprises.

Tony Spears

Tony Spears currently serves on the GVTC Board of Directors, he is the Secretary of GVE, and the current Board Chaplin, he also sits on the Executive, Governance, Long Range Planning, and the R&S committees. And has previously served on the Audit/Finance and Safety committees. With Mr. Spears' experience on several boards, understanding the fiduciary responsibility that goes along with representing your neighbors, he is an effective asset to the GVTC Board of Directors. Mr. Spears has lived on his ranch in the Delhi Community (Saturn Exchange) for the past 26 years, where he operates a cow/calf operation, along with his wife Kathleen's performance horse breading and training center. He was originally from West Texas where his family has farmed and ranched for 5 generations. Tony is active in his outdoor advertising company and operates billboards, and commercial real estate interests in several western states. In addition to serving on the GVTC Board of Directors, Tony serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He is the past president of the Ranching and Heritage Center at Texas Tech University, where he is Vice Chair of the endowment committee. He is the Past Chairman of the Go Texan Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and is an instrument-rated pilot with over 6,500 hours of flight time. Tony's interest include serving others, flying his Cessna 206, horseback riding, fly fishing in Colorado, being active in his church, and spending time with his children and grandchildren on the ranch.
