GYN PATH is currently performing the FDA EUA Aptima SARS-CoV-2 Assay. This viral molecular nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) identifies the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This test is authorized by the FDA and is a Qualifying Test method for travel by the CDC. Both RT-PCR and TMA test methods are considered Qualifying Tests required by the CDC. This assay is not an antigen or antibody test, nor is it a rapid test.
