Mr. Handin graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University in 1965 and received the degree of Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1968. Mr. Handin has over 50 years of experience in handling all types of real estate matters, estate planning, representation of homeowner's and condominium associations, the prosecution and defense of mortgage foreclosures; the writing of title insurance; and the development of various real estate projects. His areas of expertise include real estate, leases, corporate, commercial and business law, foreclosure litigation, and bankruptcy, as well as probate, wills and trusts. Mr. Handin began his legal career as an associate with the prestigious New York law firm of Ziegler, Murray, Gill, Clabby and Regan in 1968. He left them to become Managing Partner of his own firm, Fardella and Handin, in 1971. Mr. Handin moved to Coral Springs, Florida in 1978 and became General Counsel and Executive Vice President of real estate developer, Sumcot of America., Inc. In 1983 he left the position to open his own law firm as a sole practitioner. In 1991 he joined forces with E. Ross Zimmerman and Peter M. Weinstein and became the Managing Partner of Weinstein, Zimmerman and Handin, P.A. Mr. Handin currently operates as a sole practitioner and is also the President of Florida Home Title Company.
