Alicia specializes in multi-dimensional color, tailored haircuts, curly hair and client education.
Amber has been taking care of guests in and around Brentwood for the past 15 years. Amber specializes in gray blending and loves getting creative incorporating your natural gray tones in with your desired color(s). One thing she's passionate about is making sure you feel that your appointment is for pleasure and not just for the "job" of covering up gray. When Amber's not making guests feel beautiful, she's spending time with her husband (Doug), two boys (Jace & Reid), and doggie (Bell) or binge watching her favorite TV shows with a glass of red wine.
Amy has been in the industry for almost a decade and is still so passionate about education and growing each day! She loves that this career has connected her with others in a way that creates a safe space for all and allows her to truly serve others. Amy specializes in blonding techniques that she can customize for each guest to achieve their desired goals while protecting the integrity of the hair. Her Saturdays are reserved for weddings only, as she loves to be a part of a bride's "big day". She really strives to give the bride and wedding party her full attention and Pinterest worthy hair. Amy stays busy serving at her church, getting together with her very large family, and raising their two cats and puppy dog.
Over the past 30 years Andrea has traveled the US learning from top educators in the most premier academies our industry offers. While she is Deva certified to enhance your natural texture, she doesn't stop there. She is an extremely talented colorist specializing in gray coverage and is known as the "bob queen" for that perfect precision cut. Andrea loves that her guests are genuinely happy to be in her chair and is excited about attaining each unique desired result! Between cheer, softball, and PTO Andrea doesn't have much free time, but she loves spoiling her daughter and kitty cat!
Anita has been a stylist for 65+ years and is still just as passionate as the day she first stood behind the chair! After starting her career in Chicago, she then moved to Hollywood where she ran her own salon for several years. Anita has worked with some of the industries top educators doing theatrical hair, wigs, and daily styles through the decades. Anita loves building relationships with her guests, leaving them feeling beautiful inside and out. Anita is a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother! When she's not behind the chair, you will find her with her family soaking up life!
Bethany is the definition of a country song - small town girl, loves her Jesus, and her dog, Bentley! She is excited to meet new guests and see their hair goals come to fruition. Although Bethany loves all things color and cutting, she has spent the past few years focusing on balayage techniques to give that blended, lived in look to her guests. In her spare time, you'll always find Bethany shopping - especially for cute shoes!
Brooke has been doing hair for several years and falling more in love with the art every day! She is always excited about dramatic transformations whether that be a color change or adding 24 inch extensions. Although delivering on a challenge is rewarding, what Brooke loves the most about being a stylist is meeting new people and creating genuine relationships with her guests at the same time as making them feel beautiful! When she's not in the salon, you can catch her exploring new places with friends and family, winding down with a great Colleen Hoover book, or re-watching The Office…again!
Clair is a proud Nashville native and has had the honor of serving the community for over 30 years! She loves Nashville because of the diversity of its people and music. Live music just runs through our town, and Clair truly enjoys listening to it all. Clair specializes in haircuts, both men's and women's, and loves helping people feel more confident in their appearance!
With 20+ years of experience in the industry, Dara enjoys working with all hair types and textures. She really feels her best when she is creating classic blondes using custom foiling techniques. She is certified in several hair extension methods such as beaded rows, tape-ins, and fusion. Since moving to Nashville with her daughter Zoey, Dara travels to Dallas, TX once a month to continue taking care of her clients back home. She is also an ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter in the Nashville area and enjoys being able to communicate with those in the community about their hair wants and needs. When she is not busy behind the chair, Dara likes to trail run with her husband through our awesome local parks!
Darlene has been taking care of her guests for 45 years! Her favorite part about being a hair stylist is loving on her guests and giving them the best color, cut, and style that compliments their personality, face shape, and hair goals. When she's not busy at the salon, Darlene is spending time with her husband and two grown daughters.
For the past 40 years, Donnie has served in several avenues of the hair industry taking on leadership positions and educating stylists on top techniques. What he loves most about his job is getting to know people in his chair. He genuinely loves working with each guest to create a custom color, cut, and style that compliments their skin tone, natural texture, and styling ability. Donnie has been certified in DevaCurl and is happy to teach each guest how to get their curls looking their best! Donnie considers himself blessed to work beside his wife, Misty (our shampoo tech), a few days a week. When he's not here at the salon, he's spending time with their 4 sons, reading a good book, or planning a beach trip!
Jenna has been at Hair Expressions for 11 years and counting! The most rewarding thing about her career is being able to make people feel more confident or more like themselves while being creative. Color is what she's most passionate about, especially foil work - whether that's blonde, brunette, or purple - she loves adding dimension! In this season of life, Jenna's free time is mostly spent at playgrounds, walking the dogs, and doing laundry, but she loves to pour a cup of coffee and settle in with a good thriller book.
Julie has been dedicated to her guests here at Hair Expressions for the past 21 years! She is a Deva Curl certified stylist and specializes in gray coverage. Julie is always keeping us laughing in the salon, but when she's not here, you can find her cooking a feast for her husband and two (practically grown) boys or reading a mystery with her cats George and Abigail.
Growing up in the industry, Kennedie was inspired by her momma (stylist and salon owner) to work hard and never stop learning. The past several years she has poured herself into education, traveling across the world becoming a color educator and receiving certifications in several extension methods. She loves getting to know her guests and creating new looks for each of them! Although she works very hard behind the chair 5 days a week, you will find her teaching strength and conditioning classes at a boutique fitness studio in her spare time. When she's finally ready to put her feet up and relax, you can bet her golden retriever, Rudi, is snuggled up right next to her!
Kristin loves having the opportunity to serve others and feels like her career (15+ years) has been so rewarding! Her guests often feel like long time friends - even when it's the first time she's met them. She specializes in "lived in color" and Invisible Bead Extensions, often creating a natural, soft look. "The one thing that stays the same is everyday changes", and she loves the new relationships and creative challenges each day brings as a stylist. Outside of work, Kristin loves to entertain at her family's home, serve with their church youth, and just spend time with her husband, Kevin, and two kids, Linley and Barrett.
Linda has been in the industry over 40 years and has spent time as a stylist, apprenticeship leader, educator, and salon owner. Surviving cancer 3 times, Linda does not take a day for granted! She really appreciates getting to know each guest that sits in her chair and bringing them the joy of feeling good about themselves. "We only live once so I try to create an environment where others feel safe and confident!" Linda considers herself blessed to work beside her daughter, Kennedie, as they take on the hair industry together! When she's not in the salon, Linda loves to garden, shop, and most of all, play with her grandkids.
Misty's favorite thing about her career is taking care of people and making them feel worthy, cared for, and uniquely beautiful! Over the past 30 years, Misty has learned a lot of techniques, tricks, and trends. She has encouraged fellow stylists to grow by sharing her knowledge and leading classes in the salon. Misty is DevaCurl certified and loves to enhance the natural texture with customized color, curl cutting, and a hair routine specific to each guest. When Misty is not behind the chair, she's playing games with her German Shepherd, Jack, and cheering on the Titans!
Natalie has been in the industry for over 15 years! Growing up with fine, thin hair and watching her mother and grandmother struggle with the genetics and effects of hormone imbalance really lit a fire for education. Natalie has spent her career focusing on fine and thinning hair - everything from cutting, coloring, styling techniques, and extensions. She has been certified in several extension methods including IBE (Invisible Bead Extensions) and HairWear toppers. Although Natalie loves being behind the chair, she considers herself multi-passionate. Natalie is the proud owner of Hair Expressions and feels so blessed to run the business and lead the team! When she's not in the salon, she is usually knee deep in hot wheels and sidewalk chalk with her three little boys, exploring the outdoors with her family, or baking a yummy treat.
For the past decade, Sabrina has been diving deeper into her creativity with hair! She really loves to work with a bright, colorful palette! If you've always dreamed of vibrant colors in your hair, she's your girl! Sabrina stays creative at home with her gardening, mini farm, and 3 kids.
Zoe thrives in an artistic environment, whether that's throwing clay on a pottery wheel, going to shows at TPAC, or designing a new tattoo! She has used creativity to inspire herself over the past decade, designing custom colors for her guests. Zoe is also certified in tape-in extensions and Peter Coppola smoothing treatments to complete your look. When Zoe is not at the salon, she's loving on her sweet baby girl, changing diapers and playing peek-a-boo.
