Lauren Bruce

Lauren has been the Executive Officer of Heartland Investments Limited since 2006. She is a member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) as a Chartered Accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Directors (MInstD). She gained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Otago in 2002 with a double major in Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Business degree with Distinction in Finance in 2004, also from the University of Otago.

Max Toy - Chairman

Max lives in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, and has had an extensive business career spanning over 40 years. He has held a number of Senior Executive positions in large companies, as well as in the last 20 years, a number of directorships. His strong commercial background, particularly in Primary Industry sector but also in Investment Management, gives him a very practical approach to business. This approach emphasizes good planning, good execution and tight management control. He believes that people with proven skills in their industry sector are essential for successful companies. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Auckland University.

Murray Loewenthal

Murray Loewenthal is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, and was in public practice for more than 30 years in Otorohanga before his retirement in 2000. Since that time, he has continued to be involved in business, currently holding positions as follows:

Neil Cullimore

Neil has been involved in the IT industry for more than 50 years. Prior to 1993 he was CEO and Director of Paxus Corporation, an Australian publicly listed IT company. Following the merger of Paxus with The Continuum Company in Austin, Texas, he moved to become Executive Vice-President of Continuum. In 1996 this led to him being appointed as Executive Vice-President of Computer Sciences Corporation's Financial Services Group based in Austin. Since moving back to Sydney in 1999 and subsequently Auckland in 2007, he has been an investor in both public and private companies, primarily in the IT industry, which has led to him participating as a Director in a number of those companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Maths) from Auckland University.
