Aaron Zitalone

Aaron assists with trade implementation and monitoring and rebalancing client portfolios. He also manages capital calls and supports proposal preparation. Prior to joining Heritage, Aaron worked as a financial advisor. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in finance from Slippery Rock University. Aaron holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses and is working towards the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Aaron lives in Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife, Nicole, and dogs, Sophie and CiCi. He enjoys listening to podcasts and playing fantasy football.

Brenda Wright

Brenda is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping functions for the firm. Brenda brought over 20 years of experience to Heritage. She has an extensive background in human resources, accounting, and treasury. Brenda earned her B.S. in Accounting from Mary Baldwin University and her Master's in Business Administration from Strayer University. Brenda is involved in her community with multiple organizations, including Lunch Buddy, Feed More, and NCWC Outreach. She also enjoys collecting music for her library and crocheting. Brenda resides in Virginia with her husband, Larry, and dog, Smokey.

Cary Baronian

Job Titles:

Cary is a partner in the firm with a focus on investment research, defining Heritage's financial market views, and positioning client portfolios. Prior to joining Heritage in 2016 as a Senior Analyst, Cary worked at Morgan Stanley in New York, Spider Management Company, and Xenith Bank in Richmond, Virginia. Cary earned her B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from the University of Virginia. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). She is a member of the Investment Advisory Board for the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU (CHoR), and the Board of Directors for The First Tee of Greater Richmond. She is also an active member of the CFA Society of Virginia and the Estate Planning Council of Richmond. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf and cheering on the UVA basketball team.

Catrice Taylor

Catrice has been part of Heritage since the firm opened in 2005 and has many key roles, including human resources management, office operations, and budgeting and financial analysis. Prior to her role at Heritage, Catrice worked at Capital One Financial Corporation as an Administrative Assistant for seven years and has just under 20 years of experience in human resources, office management, and administration. Catrice earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Strayer University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer System Applications from ECPI College of Technology. She is a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society of Human Resources Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). Catrice is also an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and SHRM Richmond and has been involved with SHRM since 2009. Her many interests include mixology, interior design, and supporting her son's creative endeavors in apparel design.

Charlotte Fox

Charlotte works to build strong, trusted relationships with her clients as part of the Heritage team. Prior to her role at Heritage, Charlotte spent 10 years at a large broker/dealer, serving thousands of clients and ensuring operational efficiency behind the scenes. She earned her B.A. James Madison University, is a CFP® certification candidate, and was recently awarded the Dalton Education Diversity Scholarship and Financial Planning Association's Diversity Award. She is an active member of The Junior League of Richmond and a Board Member-At-Large with the Financial Planning Association of Central Virginia. She is also the lead representative for Heritage on the Women Executives in Business (WEB) organization and is an ouRVA Collective member through the Community Foundation. She is a devoted mom to her son, Beau, and her hobbies include painting and crafting.

Chase Hill

Chase has been a vital part of the Heritage team since its founding in 2005 and is partner of the firm. He has a deep appreciation for Heritage's rich diversity and finds immense pride in the firm's role as a trailblazer in shaping the future of wealth management. Chase attended Virginia Tech and earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. Chase is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and an Enrolled Agent. Chase is an active member of the Board of Trustees for Trinity Episcopal High School and Chesterfield Cultural Arts Foundation. He is also a member of the Central Virginia chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), The Estate Planning Council of Richmond, and The Richmond Private Business Study Group. Chase volunteers with Junior Achievement of Central Virginia. Chase and his wife, Lara, have two children together. He enjoys outdoor activities, and tailgating at Virginia Tech sports events.

Daniel Rowe

Daniel services client relationships in the areas of financial planning, estate planning, tax planning and preparation. Daniel enjoys being a trusted resource for his team and clients alike. Prior to joining Heritage, Daniel was a financial advisor at another wealth advisory firm, where he began his career working with clients on financial planning and investment management. Daniel earned his B.A. and Master's in Business Administration from the University of Lynchburg. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). Daniel volunteers his time coaching a varsity basketball team at a local high school. He resides in Richmond, VA, with his wife, Alyssa, son, Luke, and black lab, Bailey.

Dee Ann Remo - CEO

Dee Ann founded Heritage Wealth Advisors in Richmond, VA, in 2005. A former tax and wealth management partner at KPMG, she had a deep understanding of the unique and complex needs of high-net-worth individuals. Dee Ann saw an opportunity to create the most comprehensive and collaborative multi-family office in the region and beyond. Dee Ann's board service has included The Community Foundation serving Central Virginia, Richmond Memorial Health Foundation, Richmond Sports Backers, The Visual Arts Center of Richmond, Richmond SPCA, and West Virginia University Foundation. Her professional affiliations include the Institute for Certified Financial Planners and the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants. Dee Ann earned her B.S. magna cum laude from West Virginia University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and a Personal Financial Specialist. She and her husband, Jim, have been married for over 35 years. Dee Ann enjoys her new role of Dee Dee to her two granddaughters. Dee Ann founded Heritage Wealth Advisors in 2005. Glenna Chung

Glenna directly supports the firm's CEO, Dee Ann Remo, and senior-level management while focusing on providing superior client service. In addition, Glenna leads the administrative team and day-to-day administrative operations. She is a large contributor to the employee experience and is actively involved in growing the team and onboarding new employees. Glenna joined Heritage with an extensive customer service background. She earned a B.S. in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Glenna resides in the Richmond area.

Jack Lowe

Jack works closely with multiple generations of families as not simply an advisor, but as an advocate and trusted member of their team. Prior to joining Heritage, Jack worked in Washington, D.C., where he specialized in retirement planning and wealth management. Jack earned a B.S. from Virginia Tech in Applied Economic Management with a concentration in Financial Planning. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and he is working toward his Enrolled Agent designation. He is currently the Chairman of Greater Richmond's Fit4Kids Young Professionals Board after more than four years fundraising for the organization.

Joel R. Mangham - Managing Director

Joel has over 30 years of experience in investment management. Joel joined Heritage from Mangham Associates, a firm he founded in 1991. Joel previously worked at Cambridge Associates and Gemini Consulting. Joel earned his M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia. He also has his M.S., from the University of Wisconsin, and B.S. in Geology from the University of Washington. He currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Miller School of Albemarle. Joel is an avid hiker and rock-hound, and lives with his wife Michele on their sheep farm in Albemarle County.

Joel Streeter

Joel works with our client service team to support clients in all aspects of financial planning and investment management. Joel joined Heritage from Mangham Associates. He previously worked at Trian Fund Management, BNY Mellon Investment Management, and Wells Capital Management. Joel earned his B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University and has a Series 65 Certification. He has spent time fundraising for various organizations in both San Francisco and Charlottesville. Joel lives in the Charlottesville area with his wife, Molly, and two children, Ruby and June. He spends time as a musician, performing music by the Beatles and his own.

Kaitlyn Kocuba

Kaitlyn oversees all active investment portfolios at Heritage and works directly with clients to review their full investment picture. In addition, she constructs and audits public and private portfolios as part of Heritage's Investment Research Team. Prior to joining Heritage, she worked for Hefren-Tillotson on the Investment Advisory Team, focusing on specialized trading and portfolio management. Kaitlyn graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and Finance. Kaitlyn is a CFA Level 2 candidate and holds her Series 7 & 66 securities licenses. She is also a member of the CFA Society of Pittsburgh. She and her husband, Tyler, recently welcomed their son, Wesley, who joins an extended family of two cats, a dog, chickens, bunnies, and fish.

Kristen Puryear

Kristen helps clients plan for long-term financial success by getting to know them intimately and also managing their portfolios at a bird's-eye level. Prior to joining Heritage, Kristen worked at Merrill Lynch for six years in various positions. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Virginia with high honors and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). She serves as the Director of Finance on the Junior League of Richmond's Board of Directors with a focus on budgeting and fundraising. She is also a Board Member At-Large with the Financial Planning Association of Central Virginia, leading regular meetings with the Charlottesville cohort and managing their social media presence. She and her husband are expecting a daughter later in the year, and she enjoys yoga, baking, reading, and traveling.

Kristine Carter

Kristine joined Heritage with over 20 years of experience in administrative office management, finance, human resources, and project management. She is involved in her community with multiple organizations, including The Giving Heart, Angel Tree, and participates in local food drives. She enjoys mixed media arts, reading, cooking, and going to the beach in her free time.

Madison Hartke

Madison is responsible for supporting the client service team and wealth advisors. She is involved in serving clients, as well as various back-office functions to support the team. Before joining Heritage, Madison was an administrative assistant for a travel sales company for several years. She brings vast experience to the team, including office management, relationship building, cross-functional team communications, and collaboration. Madison resides in the Pittsburgh area and has one dog and three cats. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and hiking in her free time.

Marshall Chambers

Marshall is a partner at Heritage and has been a crucial member of the team since 2007. With over two decades of experience in financial services, he works closely with multi-generational families and specializes in portfolio management, wealth transfer, legacy planning, plus philanthropic strategy and family partnerships. Marshall also serves on the firm's Investment Policy Committee. Prior to joining Heritage, Marshall worked at SunTrust Bank for seven years. Marshall graduated from Randolph Macon College with a B.S. in Economics and Business and continued his financial education to become a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and an Enrolled Agent (EA). Marshall sits on the Associate Board of the Richmond Performing Arts Alliance and the Endowment Fund Trustees for ChildSavers. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond and the CFA Society of Virginia.

Matthew Osten

Meagan Roberts

Meagan manages the internal operations of Heritage's Client Service Team. She also serves existing and new clients in the areas of tax planning and preparation, financial planning, and estate planning. Prior to joining Heritage Wealth Advisors, Meagan worked for over seven years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Assurance Senior Manager in the industrial products market, two of which were spent in Budapest, Hungary. Meagan earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University with a concentration in Accounting. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Meagan is a part of Leadership Pittsburgh's Leadership Development Initiative cohort and a member of UPMC Children's Hospital Foundation Children's Trust, and the Financial Planning Association. She and her husband, Brian live in Pittsburgh with their son, Lincoln.

Mica Lee

Mica joined Heritage with nine years of administrative experience in commercial contracting and six years of customer service. Mica resides in the Richmond area with her husband, Demetri, their four children, and two dogs.

Michael Kelly

Michael assists Wealth Planners and Partners to service existing and new client relationships, emphasizing financial planning and estate planning. He is heavily involved in the firm's tax practices, including planning and preparation. Michael began his career with Heritage as a tax intern in 2020. During that time, he became familiar with the Heritage team and the ins and outs of tax season. Michael graduated from Duquesne University with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy. He is currently a candidate to become a Certified Public Accountant, and his exams are underway. Michael resides in Pittsburgh, PA, and enjoys golfing and watching the Steelers.

Mitchell Moncure

Prior to joining Heritage, Mitchell interned for a large financial firm. He earned his B.S. from Virginia Tech in Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning. Natalie Jones

She graduated from Richard Bland College and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Patricia Escobar-Chena

Ryan Reid

Sarah earned her B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®). Sarah is an Advisory Board Member for the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. She is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh and the Financial Planning Association. She grew up in Richmond, VA, and now lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband Blaine, two daughters, Amelia and Eliza, and their dog.

Sharon Porter

Sharon works closely with the Investment Advisory and Client Service teams to recommend investment solutions, monitor portfolios, and assist with the rebalancing and trading of clients' portfolios. Prior to joining Heritage, Sharon worked in the Trade Processing Security Master Group and International Dividends Department with Wells Fargo Advisors and has over 20 years of experience. Sharon attended ECPI University, becoming certified in Office Technology. She has also attended the University of Richmond and is continuing her education through courses at Henrico County Adult Education. She is a Notary Public. Sharon is an active volunteer with her church and manages her community garden. She also enjoys baking and traveling. She resides in Virginia with her husband, Lee, daughter, and dog, Blue.

Steve Henderson

Steve has been key to Heritage's expanded client services, particularly in the area of alternative investment strategies. With 35+ years of investment experience, Steve is a member of Heritage's Investment Policy Committee and is heavily involved in investment strategy, asset allocation and implementation, and due diligence. He previously served for over a decade as the Director of Investments at The Spider Management Company and worked at the Virginia Retirement System (VRS). Steve earned his B.A. from the University of Richmond and an MBA in Finance from George Washington University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®). Steve serves as the Investment Chair for the VCU Investment Management Company and has been a trustee at the Steward School since 2006, only taking a brief hiatus to avoid conflicts of interest with his previous position at the University of Richmond. Steve and his wife have been married for over 35 years and have three daughters.

Steven Jakobovic

He spent 10 years at Mangham Associates before joining the Heritage team. He worked at UBS and Reserve Funds. Steven has also served as the Executive Director of the Historical Society of Carroll County in Westminster, Maryland. He earned his B.A. in Business Administration from James Madison University, and a M.A. in Sociology from The New School for Social Research. Steven is a registered investment advisor in the State of Virginia. Steven has served on the Board of Trustees and as Inaugural Treasurer for the Peter Bullough Foundation in Winchester, VA. He also has volunteered with the Louisa County Historical Society and the Wildlife Conservation Society's Central Park Zoo. Steven resides in the Charlottesville area with his partner, Alexandra. He enjoys playing blues guitar, kayaking, and tomato gardening.

Takisha Smith Robinson

Takisha joined Heritage more than 15 years ago and works at the intersection of both the operations and administrative teams. Prior to her joining Heritage, she worked at Virginia Farm Bureau and at Capital One Financial Corporation. Takisha earned her bachelor's degree in Real Estate Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University. Her path to higher education was not linear, and she left VCU shortly after enrolling. She also serves as a notary. Takisha is a part of the selection committee for Heritage's Foundation for Financial Independence (FFI). Our first grant recipient, Neighborhood Resource Center Fulton, is located in Takisha's community and focuses on providing resources to teach people to garden and prepare healthy meals, in addition to youth camps and after-school programs. Takisha enjoys taking hip-hop dance classes, visiting local seafood restaurants, and traveling with her husband.

Tina M. Leiter - COO

Tina assists the firm with multiple functions including financial management, human resources, operations, and compliance. Prior to joining Heritage, Tina worked at Mangham Associates. She has also worked as Chief Compliance Officer for The Investment Fund for Foundations, where she established the firm's first compliance program. She also worked in the same role for Cherry Bekaert Wealth Management. Tina's previous experience also includes Merrill Lynch and Cambridge Associates. Tina earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Lynchburg College. She resides in Virginia with her husband and enjoys traveling in cooking in her free time.

Tracy Townsend

Trey Childers

Wesley Clark Cullinane

Wesley is involved in many facets at Heritage including performance reporting, data management, portfolio analyses, and client support. Wesley joined Heritage from Mangham Associates, where he worked as an Analyst. Previously he worked at BTR Capital Management, Inc. in San Francisco, and Capital Analysts of New England, Inc. in Massachusetts. Wesley earned his B.S. in Finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He is a community outreach volunteer with VERP (Virginia Eviction Reduction Pilot) in the Charlottesville and Albemarle areas. Wesley enjoys cycling, playing pickleball, and reading in his free time.

William Spetrino
