Harvesting In Mansfield (HIM Food Bank) is both a food bank and food pantry meaning we serve both clients who go through a simple application process to receive food AND we provide food in bulk (500lbs - 8,000lbs) to over 100 churches and other nonprofit organizations for them to distribute all over North Texas... HIM served approximately 215,000 people in 2022 with approximately 10 million pounds of food donated and purchased from our wonderful partners who include Frito-Lay, Niagara Water, Wal-Mart Distribution, Panera Bread, and many more partners. In addition, we work with Common Ground, Rush Creek Church, Venus ISD, Rio Vista ISD, Arlington ISD, Fort Worth ISD, Granbury ISD, and many other school districts in supporting their efforts with both backpacks for kids and the summer sack programs. In 2022, we provided full Thanksgiving meals to over 2,500 families in need and Christmas meals and toys to over 500 families... The HIM Food Bank provides nutritious groceries every weekday..
