Adriana Zamorano-Gonzalez

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Associate
Adriana recently graduated from the University of Idaho with a master's in architecture and started her professional career in residential architecture before joining HSA in 2022. One of the biggest reasons Adriana loves architecture is because of the impact building design has on cultural environment. She is an avid movie watcher. Most of her free time is spent watching movies, trying out new recipes, or going on random adventures with her husband. Adriana graduated from the University of Idaho with a Masters in Architecture.

Bob Smith

Job Titles:
  • Founding Principal
Bob co-founded HSA in 1996 with Don Hutchison. Bob has 40 years of architectural design experience on a wide range of project types. He has been the Principal Architect for education, communications, office, university, government, and multi-family housing projects. Bob's success as a project architect comes from his ability to listen to the client's complex needs and communicate that information to the design team and transform the data into a design which fulfills those complex needs. He has extensive experience working with the State as well as most State Agencies on new construction, additions, re-roofing, and renovations. Bob has a love for the outdoors, you can often find him on his off time, hiking and camping in the Idaho backcountry. Ironman and Boston Marathon finisher can be added to Bob's many titles.

Don Hutchison

Don founded Hutchison-Smith Architects with Bob Smith in 1996. He has been a key member of numerous project design teams for educational, municipal, institutional, commercial, retail, religious, recreational, and industrial projects. He has also been the Principal Architect in hundreds of remodels, additions, roof overbuilds, and re-roofs. Don is recognized by the roofing industry as one of the leading architectural consultants for roofing design and construction. In 2020 Don joined his wife in retirement and they are currently cruising America's Great Loop on their 34 ft. trawler, "Panacea".

Glenn Robinette - President

Glenn has 34 years of experience in the field of Architecture and has worked his way up from CAD drafter to Project Manager and is now Principal Architect and Owner of HSA. Glenn has provided project leadership for over twenty years at HSA on projects for clients including: 12 separate School Districts, Boise State University, Idaho Division of Public Works, and numerous State Agencies. Glenn is a reroofing expert with extensive experience with the DPW state roofing program. As an outdoor enthusiast you might encounter Glenn in the early morning hours running or mountain biking the trails in east Boise year-round. His summertime is split up in many directions from road biking, paddle boarding and an occasional fun run somewhere in southern Idaho. When it is time to relax and unwind, he and his wife head for the mountains for camping, fishing, day hiking and of course more mountain biking and paddle boarding. As the seasons change from fall to winter the downhill slopes of Tamarack and Brundage beckon him to the call of their challenges and of course no winter is complete without snowshoeing in the peace of the snow-covered mountains of Idaho. "Use it or lose It" is his personal motto. Glenn brings decades of experience to the field of Architecture, having worked his way up from CAD drafter to Principal Architect and Owner of HSA.

Jimmy O'Connor

Jimmy O'Connor has over 25 years of experience on projects ranging from educational facilities, custom residential, and multi-family housing. His hands-on approach has given him extensive experience in all aspects of the project, from schematic design through contract administration. Jimmy has been a key member of the design team on numerous State, Educational and Multi-family housing projects. Jimmy has a long history with HSA, starting in 1997. In 2019 he returned to Boise (and shortly thereafter, HSA) from a year sabbatical in which he traveled the world and was able to visit family in his homeland of Ireland. Jimmy's free time is spent hiking with family, skiing at Bogus, road trips and camping. He's known to enjoy a good book with a good beer.

Joe Presher

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Joe has been with HSA for 24 years. He has served as Project Manager on multiple State of Idaho and School District projects throughout the years. Most recently, Joe has worked on projects at the Idaho Veterans Home in Boise, and the Idaho Department of Correction. Joe is experienced with all aspects of a project from design and the preparation of construction documents to construction administration. Joe grew up in Idaho working various agricultural and construction jobs before he went to school for computer-aided design. He was also a proud member of the Idaho Army Reserve 321st Combat Engineers from 1982 to 1994. He has worked with HSA since 1997 and completed the NCARB Intern Development Program in 2005. He lives in Canyon County (otherwise known as Idaho's wine country) and enjoys farming, snowmobiling, camping, hunting, fishing, and most outdoor activities with his family. Joe has served as Project Manager on multiple State of Idaho and School District projects throughout the years.

Keith Tasker

Job Titles:
  • Vice President, NCARB
Keith brings 2 decades of experience to HSA and was named Vice President and Co-owner in 2023. He has extensive experience in an array of projects and has been a valuable asset in numerous design teams for both residential and commercial projects. Keith's skills include acute attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with the design team, benefiting the overall effectiveness of the project team from programming to project closeout. He has obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Master's in Architecture from UCLAN. Keith is licensed in Idaho and a member of AIA and NCARB. Keith and his family relocated to Boise from the UK in 2018 and he joined HSA shortly thereafter. He has embraced the Idaho outdoors and all it has to offer. When not in the office you can find him mountain biking, golfing, hunting, backpacking, fishing or bouldering in the beautiful outdoors of Idaho. He also enjoys family time with his wife and two daughters.

Matthew Harbison

Job Titles:
  • Architectural Designer
Matthew recently graduated from The College of Western Idaho with an Advanced Technical Certificate in Technology Drafting and started his professional career as an architectural designer with HSA in 2023. Matthew is experienced with multiple CAD programs, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D and Solid works. He is also a member of the Idaho National Guard 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion proudly serving with the unit since 2018. He has lived in the Boise area since 2015 and enjoys exercising, swimming, and spending time with his friends and family.

Pat Klein

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Pat is a Project Manager with over 25 years' experience from design through construction administration. He believes that in order to have a successful project, one needs to have experience and knowledge in materials, construction, and the entire building process. This kind of understanding leads projects to a quality-made structure and seamless collaboration with the entire design team and owner. Pat enjoys spending his weekends camping, boating and fishing in the Idaho wilderness or working on his latest home improvement project. Pat is a Project Manager with over 18 years' experience from design through construction administration.

Shawna Harvey

Job Titles:
  • Bookkeeper
Shawna Harvey joined HSA in 2022. Her accounting experience includes bookkeeper, accounts payable specialist, and treasury analyst. She is happy to be in a career that suits her detail-oriented personality. She thinks the best thing about being an accounting professional is the many different industries she has been able to work in. Shawna is the mother of 3 adult children and is happily married. She loves spending time watching movies, walking her dog, and playing the piano. She is an Idaho native and hopes to be able to live on a small country farm someday. Shawna's accounting experience includes bookkeeper, accounts payable specialist, and treasury analyst.

Tony Milburn

Tony has over 20 years' experience in construction document preparation. He's known for his attention to detail and thorough construction documents. Tony has been a team member in projects for educational public agencies, multi-family housing and commercial facilities. He has provided expert construction drawings most recently for IDOC buildings without change orders. Contractors appreciate the clarity provided by Tony's construction documents and his attention to detail. Tony's hobbies include hiking, camping, traveling, gardening & Red Sox baseball. He was recently able to take a trip to Boston and watch them play in person! His favorite title is "Papa" to his 2-year-old granddaughter!
