Alaa F. Sheta

Alaa F. Sheta received his B.E., M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University in 1988 and 1994, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Computer Science Department, School of Information Technology and Engineering, George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, USA in 1997. He was promoted to professorship in 2008. Currently, Prof. Sheta is a faculty member with the Computer Science Department, The World Islamic Sciences and Education (WISE) University, Amman, Jordan. He is on leave from the Computers and Systems Department, Electronics Research Institute (ERI), Cairo, Egypt. He published over 80 papers, book chapters and two books in the area of image processing and evolutionary computations. Dr. Gerhard Roth

G. Roth received a B.Math from the University of Waterloo in 1976, a Master's of computer science from Carleton University in 1984, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from McGill in 1993. He is an Adjunct Research Professor at the Carleton University, and the University of Ottawa. He has done research in the fields of perceptual audio/video user interfaces, augmented reality, and building models from sensor data.

Dr. Hossam Faris

Hossam Faris received his BA, M.Sc. degrees (with excellent rates) in Computer Science from Yarmouk University, Jordan and Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is currently an Assistant professor with the Business Information Technology Department, King Abdullah II, School for Information Technology, University of Jordan. He has been awarded a full-time competition-based Ph.D. scholarship from the Italian Ministry of Education and Research to peruse his PhD degrees in e-Business at University of Salento, Italy, where he obtained his PhD degree in 2011. His research interests include: Applied Computational Intelligence, Evolutionary Computation, Knowledge Systems, Semantic Web and Ontologies.

Dr. Ingo Scholz

Ingo Scholz studied computer science at the University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, between 1994 and 2000, with an emphasis on pattern recognition and image processing. He graduated with the degree `Diplom-Informatiker'. In 2001 he joined the research staff at the Institute for Pattern Recognition of the University Erlangen-Nuremberg, focusing his research on the reconstruction of light field models, camera calibration techniques and structure from motion. He received his doctorate degree in 2008. Since 2007 he is working for Giesecke and Devrient GmbH in Munich, Germany, as a software developer and project manager in automated banknote processing. He is a member of the german `Gesellschaft für Informatik' (GI).

Dr. rer. nat. Ashraf Aboshosha

Ashraf Aboshosha graduated with a B.Sc. in industrial electronics from Menoufia University, Egypt at 1990. At 1997 he received his M.Sc. in automatic control and measurement engineering. From 1997 to 1998 he was guest researcher at research centre Jülich (FZJ), Germany. From 2000 to 2004 he was a doctoral student at Eberhard-Karls-University, Tübingen, Germany. Where he received his Doctoral degree (Dr. rer. nat.) at 2004. He is the E-i-C of ICGST LLC, Delaware, USA.

Mr. Chandra Mohan Miryala

M. Chandra Mohan received B.E. (EEE) degree from Osmania University in 1994. He worked as an Assistant Engineer in AP State Electricity Board (APSEB) for 7 years (1994-2001). Mean while he completed his M. Tech. (CS&E) from Osmania University in 2000 by availing study leave. He is working in JNT University Hyderabad since 2001. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in Dept of CS&E in JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad, JNT University Hyderabad. He is the recipient of 3 Gold Medals from Osmania University at the graduate level by securing University first rank. He is pursuing his Ph.D. from JNT University Hyderabad in Computer Science under the guidance of Dr V. Vijaya Kumar. He has published five research publications in various National and International Journals and conferences.

Mr. Eslam Mahmoud

Eslam Mahmoud, received the B.Sc degree in Computer Science and Automatic Control from the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, in 2009. He is working now as Senior Software Developer. His research interests include; Software Engineering, Database and Big Data.

Mr. Ming Yan

Ming Yan received the Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1996. Then he joined China Greatwall Computer Shenzhen Ltd, where he worked as a computer system integration engineer and product manager for five years. He moved to Canada in 2001, and received his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Applied Science degrees from the University of Ottawa, all in Electrical Engineering. His Master research focused on Image Processing and Computer Vision. Ming moved to the United States and joined Qualcomm Inc. in 2008 and works as a software engineer developing multimedia features used in the next generation CDMA chipsets.

Mr. Mustafa M. Hammad

Mustafa M. Hammad was born in Saudi Arabia, in 1981. He received his Masters degree in computer science rom Al-Balqa Applied University, Salt, Jordan, in 2005. He received his B.Sc. in computer science from the Hashemite University, Zarqa, Jordan, in 2002. currently, he is a research assistant in Al-Balqa Applied University. His research interests are: Pattern recognition, Applications of AI in computer communication network design, and computer vision.

Mrs. Hend Fathi

Hend Mancy She received her B.Sc. from Faculty of Science, AL-Azhar University at 2006.where she is working as a Demonstrator and Ms. Mancy is preparing M.Sc in the big data analysis under the supervision of prof.Kamal Eldahshan Her research interests include Big data, data science and data uncertainty.

Mrs. Nandita Pradhan

Nandita Pradhan is professor and Head in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in Galgotias College of Enginnering and Technology, Greater Noida, India. She received her Bachelor of Engineering in 1985 and Master of Engineering in 1991, both with distinction from Government Engineering College, Jabalpur, India At present she is pursuing doctoral programme from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India. She has published many papers in the Conferences/ journals. She is life member of ISTE, India and IETE, India. She has also reviewed one book on "Signal and System" of Mcgrawhill publication and other is under review process. Her area of interest are Image Processing, Medical Imaging, Biomedical Instrumentation and digital signal processing.

Prof. Dr. ALI RACHIDI

Ali RACHIDI is currently research professor at the National School of Commerce and Management, University Ibn Zohr, Agadir Morocco. He received the doctorate at Mohamed V University, Rabat in 1999 and the clearance to conduct research (HDR) at the University Ibn Zohr, Agadir in 2007. His research topics are: artificial intelligence, automatic processing of natural language and pattern recognition.

Prof. Dr. Ashok Kumar Sinha

Ashok Kumar Sinha Ashok Kumar Sinha is a professor in ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, India, Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Dean of Research and Development. His research interests include Image Processing analysis, artificial intelligence, neural networks and systems modeling. He did his B. Tech from Bihar University in 1966, M. Tech from IIT Delhi in 1976 and Ph.D from IIT Delhi in 1981.He is IEEE affiliate of Computer Society and life member of Indian Society of Technical Education. He has been consultant to Planning Commission Government of India and worked on several projects on systems analysis and techno-economic feasibility studies .He has publications in the area of transportation system modeling, satellite image processing and MRI image processing in national and international journals and conference proceedings. He has chaired technical sessions in various conferences in India.

Prof. Dr. Jeffrey J. Rodríguez

Jeffrey J. Rodríguez is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona (since 1990). He received the Ph.D. degree (1990) and B.S. degree (1984) in electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, and the S.M. degree (1986) in electrical engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Recently, he was Co-Director (2003-2008) of Connection One, a National Science Foundation industry / university cooperative research center. Prof. Dr. Mohsen Rashwan

Prof. Mohsen Rashwan received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and electrical communications from Cairo University, another M.Sc. degree in systems and computer engineering from Carleton University, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and electrical communications from Queen's University, Canada. He currently serves as an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communications, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and as the R&D Director of RDI Arabic Language Technologies (HLT) research lab, (www.RDI-Eg.com). He has shared and led several national and international mega projects, like FP7 projects on Arabic HLT NEMLAR and MEDAR, and as a Co-PI in the Egyptian Data Mining Center of Excellence. He has cofounded ALTEC (an NGO to serve the Arabic language Technologies; www.ALTEC-Center.org).

Prof. Dr. Parvatham Venkatachalam

Parvatham Venkatachalam received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India in 1972 and 1978 respectively. Currently, she is a professor in Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, India. Her research interests include development of GIS for natural and human resources applications, digital image processing of remote sensing satellite data, development of spatial decision support systems, data structure in spatial databases, spatial data mining and warehousing. Dr. Venkatachalam is a founder member of Indian Society of Geomatics, Life Member of Indian Society of Remote Sensing and Life Member of Indian National Cartographic Association. B. Krishna Mohan received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 1991. Santosh V. Chapaneri

Santosh V. Chapaneri completed his undergraduate with distinction in Electrical Engineering from University of Mumbai with first rank and Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Arizona. His employment experience includes working as DSP and Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems Ltd., India; as a lecturer at TCET, University of Mumbai; and currently working as a Software Developer at Microsoft Corporation, Redmond, USA. His research area includes image and video processing, multimedia and software development.
