The Institute for Clean Energy Technology (ICET), formerly known as the Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Laboratory (DIAL), is located in the Thad Cochran Research, Technology, and Economic Development Park on MSU's Starkville campus. ICET is a member of the James Worth Bagley College of Engineering... ICET was first established in 1979 to support the U.S. Department of Energy's magnetohydrodynamic power program and has historically operated as an engineering measurement and instrumentation laboratory. Of late, ICET has concentrated its efforts on HEPA filter testing and on the development of radiological mapping technologies. Most recently, our organization has established a Nuclear Quality Assurance Program (NQA-1) to better meet the needs of the nuclear power industry.
