Cheri serves as the Chief Flight Instructor for CFS. She has been instructing since 2012 with over 2,500 hours dual given. She has taught in the Mountains of Montana, the high terrain of Arizona, and now here. She has been a collegiate instructor for many years. She now flies as a Captain for a charter and corporate flight operation all over the United State's, Mexico, and Canada and continues to instruct. She is a CFII, MEI, AGI, IGI, Commercial single and multi-engine certified pilot.

Christian Yao serves as the Assistant Chief Instructor for Chennault Flying Service. He has been instructing since 2018 in the Las Vegas Valley and has experience managing large international flight programs. He is a 4th generation pilot as his great grandfather flew B-25 Mitchells, grandfather flew F-4 Phantoms, and father flew F-15C Eagles. Before becoming a flight instructor he was a college student attaining a degree in Criminal Justice while being a volunteer firefighter, and operating wreckers in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (Ohhh you betcha!). A passion outside of aviation is the great outdoors. You'll find him out in the middle of nowhere hiking or jeep'n if he isn't at the flight school.
