Bio:
Andrew's primary practice is advising clients with respect to novel and complex insolvency issues, with a particular focus on cross-border and governmental restructurings. He has represented debtors, ad hoc groups, official committees, and individual investors in large chapter 11 and chapter 15 filings.
Andrew also has an active pro bono practice, including advising numerous tenants in the chapter 11 bankruptcies of their landlords, and has represented ICE detainees in connection with asylum proceedings.
Andrew graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School, where he served as Articles Editor on the Brooklyn Law Review. As a law student, Andrew worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jane Restani, Senior Judge for the United States Court of International Trade.
Andrew received an LL.M. in International and European Business Law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid and graduated magna cum laude from the University at Albany, earning a B.A. in English and Spanish. He is also highly proficient in Spanish.

Ashok Kumar is a very experienced Singapore lawyer specialising in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency. He leads the practice at BlackOak LLC, an independent special situations legal firm. BlackOak has acted in many high-profile restructuring and insolvency deals across jurisdictions (either as Singapore counsel or international counsel), including FTX, Century Sunshine Group entities, 3 Arrows Capital, PT. Pan Brothers Tbk, China Fishery Group, Indonesia-based Duniatex Group. Brigitte Umbach-Spahn is a partner on the Insolvency and Restructuring team of Wenger Plattner Switzerland. She advises creditors and debtors in national and cross-border restructuring and insolvency cases and represents clients in court in insolvency matters. She also acts as administrator/liquidator in complex insolvency proceedings such as Petroplus, Bank Hottinger etc. and serves as a member of creditor committees. Brigitte Umbach-Spahn has been appointed by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as an investigating agent for banks and financial institutions.

Carlo Ghia has been member of Studio Legale Ghia, one of the leading law firms in Italy with offices in Rome and Milan, which focuses its activities in the areas of commercial law, insolvency, restructuring and bank law.
Since his junior practice, Carlo had the opportunity to work on international insolvency cases such as Parmalat Group, Delta Airlines and other US bankruptcy proceedings, acquiring also experiences working with US law firms.

Carlota Palazzo earned her Law Degree from Catholic University of Córdoba (Argentina) where she obtained the Gold Medal Award to the top graduate of the class. She holds a Masters degree in Law (L.L.M.) from San Andrés University (Buenos Aires, Argentina). She is currently a Partner at Capdevila & Palazzo - Attorneys at Law. Her Practice Areas are Corporate and Bankruptcy Law (with more than 20 years of experience). In the field of academia, she is an Assistant Professor of Bankruptcy Law and Researcher at the National University of Córdoba and an Associate Professor of Consumer Law at Catholic University of Córdoba. She is also a Member of the Institute of Corporations of the National Academy of Law and Social Sciences of Córdoba; the Ibero - American Institute of Bankruptcy Law; the Ibero-American Institute for Law and Finance; IWIRC and Insol International. In addition, she is author of articles and research papers and lecturer on seminars, conferences and postgraduate courses on Corporate and Insolvency Law.
Charlotte Møller is a partner in the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group. Charlotte's practice is focused on advising on the restructuring of defaulting facilities and enforcement of security, as well as advising chief restructuring officers and directors of distressed companies more generally, and also insolvency practitioners. Charlotte has detailed knowledge of the UK Special Administration regime for investment firms and has worked on a large number of cross-border restructurings, primarily in the shipping, airline, energy and natural resources industries. She regularly represents clients regarding the enforcement of security over UK assets, particularly in the context of the sale and purchase of non-performing loan portfolios and real estate.
