The company originally was founded to produce inventory bins that were used for the production of automobiles at Indiana's many auto factories. In 1988 IMH acquired Premier Stamping, a 30-year-old precision sheet metal fabricator, and in 2017 acquired Sterling Multi Products expanding our geographic reach into the Quad Cities Region while increasing our stamping and large foot print machining capabilities. In 2020 IMH aquired Mainstay Manufacturing one of Central Indiana's top manufacturers for low volume quick turn precision sheet metal and machined parts.
