After working in Germany in international tax planning and compliance, Friederike V. Ruch specialized in personal tax planning for internationally mobile Personnel. Over more than 16 years she has been advising and assisting companies and individuals engaged in foreign employment and related cross-border taxation. Her today's main focus is in the linked advising approach of any tax, social security, compensation & benefits, payroll and corporate immigration (work and residence permits as well as business visa) issues combined with the optimization of the assignment structuring, including preparation and revision of global mobility policies and guidelines. She is author of the book "Expatriates - Inpatriates / Handbuch für die Mitarbeiterentsendung" (Expatriates - Inpatriates / a guide to international assignments), the only practical guide published in Switzerland. She is also the editor of the reference material "The Swiss Foreigner Law" and writes frequent articles relating to expatriation and international assignments for Swiss, German and international publications and is a regular speaker at conferences in Switzerland, Germany and UK.
Marco Daugalies gained his international work experience (main focus: international marketing, international HR-Management and international financing), after his economic university studies, in Germany and Switzerland while working in different global companies. He worked inter alia for a leading Japanese bank as well as for a leading German bank at their headquarters in Frankfurt (Germany). Further he worked for a global industrial corporation at headquarters in Germany and Switzerland, as well as for a international consulting company. He writes frequent technical articles relating to expatriation and international assignments for Swiss, German and other international publications and is a regular speaker at conferences in Europe and in the USA.
