THE INFORMATION WORKSHOP

I spent the first part of my career as an academic librarian and manager. In 2001, I changed direction and became an independent information professional. I established The Information Workshop, and alongside that, worked part time tutoring and teaching library and information studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This combination of teaching and consulting gave me an invaluable overview of the practical and theoretical issues facing people working with information... I have worked with libraries, archives and records management organisations, professional associations and not for profit entities, local and national government bodies, small and large businesses, public and private tertiary institutions, and a wide range of academic, professional and private researchers and students.
