We are an alliance of networks. IDA brings together over 1,100 organisations of persons with disabilities and their families from across eight global and six regional networks... IDA works across the United Nations to make sure its human rights and sustainable development processes uphold the highest standards of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities - the CRPD. We also support the UN General Assembly, UN Secretariat and UN agencies-such as UNICEF, the World Bank and the World Health Organisation-to help ensure that the human rights of all persons with disabilities are an integral part of their work... The 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals are also integral to IDA's work to promote sustainable development that is inclusive of persons with disabilities and in line with our fundamental rights. We work with allies and partners to build the capacity of persons with disabilities and their organizations around the world to advocate for our collective..
